Week 1

[With the introduction to the relationship experiment and their overseeing hosts done with, the Champions are left to their own devices to explore the first floor of the mansion as they please. Cece and Kip will pop-up every once in a while to chit-chat but for the most part they're somewhere inaccessible.

Each morning the Champions are awakened promptly at 7 am by PAL's even, almost laid back voice announcing the time and each evening at 10 pm to announce when the kitchen is closing for the night. Unlike the Overseers, he doesn't seem to be one much for conversation.

Meat is kept cold, but then heated in preparation.

[??????] Because meat spoils if it's kept out without freezing. Bacteria don't really get into sugar like they do tender room temp raw meat. You heat that to taste good but also to kill off anything gross living in it. Different properties.

[CURSE YOUR LOGIC also Arianna doesn't really know what bacteria means but she gets the principle BUT STILL.]

Regardless, it does alter the taste.

Yeah. It does. I got a general policy that I don't trust anyone who eats meat rare, because either they're lying or they have the tastebuds of a cannibal. ...No offense to Roland.

I...I really don't want to be the one to ask him. [since he wouldn't be able to cook it without setting a fire anyway, apparently] Gotta wonder if he and his wonky form have different tastes.
