Week 1

[With the introduction to the relationship experiment and their overseeing hosts done with, the Champions are left to their own devices to explore the first floor of the mansion as they please. Cece and Kip will pop-up every once in a while to chit-chat but for the most part they're somewhere inaccessible.

Each morning the Champions are awakened promptly at 7 am by PAL's even, almost laid back voice announcing the time and each evening at 10 pm to announce when the kitchen is closing for the night. Unlike the Overseers, he doesn't seem to be one much for conversation.

[ Hey, it's the guy who flipped out the first night. Rhys stands up from where he's crouching and shakes his head. He grumbles a little. ]

Not yet. Either they're really well-hidden, or...

They could be disguised... or behind those big doors. But at least someone is trying to find another way out.

Disguised escape pods? Yeah, I seriously doubt that.

Everything would be soooo much easier if I could just... punch the walls down.

I mean secret passages, but either way. If we could get away with tearing this place apart this whole mess would be over by now.

... Maybe you have a point. [ Wow, that was almost a compliment. ] I mean... heh, we won't know until we look for them, right?

True. But even if we patted down every wall in this place it might be impossible without a clue. They could have a passcode, or some complicated lock. Which is somewhat stupid if they are supposed to be for a fast escape but... this entire place is some degree of stupid.

Usually stations, they, uh... have them visible. Because that would be the smart thing to do and not totally insane. Because hiding escape pods? That's something insane people do!

Not if the only ones meant to escape are the ones that know where they are.

... I knew this whole thing was literally the worst thing, ever.

Don't lose heart just yet. Assuming they want Kip and Cece to be able to get out then they have to exist somewhere. We might even be able to get the location out of them.
