Week 1

[With the introduction to the relationship experiment and their overseeing hosts done with, the Champions are left to their own devices to explore the first floor of the mansion as they please. Cece and Kip will pop-up every once in a while to chit-chat but for the most part they're somewhere inaccessible.

Each morning the Champions are awakened promptly at 7 am by PAL's even, almost laid back voice announcing the time and each evening at 10 pm to announce when the kitchen is closing for the night. Unlike the Overseers, he doesn't seem to be one much for conversation.

Oh, I love love biology, but physics? Just as important. After all, it explains the how of all of our physical actions. Just not always the why. What's not to love?

I love both. Yet it also depends on the situation. Theory can be a lot of fun, but it's very, very satisfying to put it into practice and it coming out just like you thought it would or better.

Heh. That does sound fun. Kind of like solving a puzzle, huh? Like, 'Aha, it's lining up just like I thought.'

Puzzles are a passion of mine. Except Rubik's cubes. Hate those damn things. I just peel the stickers off and make it match that way.

That's one way to game the system, I guess. Rubik's cubes aren't that hard, though, when you know the tricks.

I guess to me a Rubik's cube is like a nonogram. I can't visualize what I need in order to solve it.

Nono--oh, Picross? I used to have a lot of fun with those types of puzzles as a kid... Well, when adults could get me to sit down long enough for one, anyway.

Give me sudoku any day. I love those puzzles the most.

Ah... uh... I guess I'll leave those to you. They're not really my thing.

Eh. They're not for everyone. I love numbers, so those are perfect for me.

Ugh, yeah, I'm awful at those. Give me numbers, you can have everything doing with words.

Hah, well. It's not the words that do it for me so much as the cultural trivia clues. I'm pretty good at those.

Dude, if they ever have a reason to give us a TV, that's def a show we need to get everyone to watch then. Best way to test intelligence.

...I doubt they would. Or at least, they wouldn't give us the current episodes. Even non-news shows can be surprisingly helpful for figuring out your location--or, uh, year, since I guess that's relevant for us.

That's actually something I've been curious about. If I'm supposed to be 24, like in my profile, that means it's either 2016 or 2017 back home.
