Week 1

[With the introduction to the relationship experiment and their overseeing hosts done with, the Champions are left to their own devices to explore the first floor of the mansion as they please. Cece and Kip will pop-up every once in a while to chit-chat but for the most part they're somewhere inaccessible.

Each morning the Champions are awakened promptly at 7 am by PAL's even, almost laid back voice announcing the time and each evening at 10 pm to announce when the kitchen is closing for the night. Unlike the Overseers, he doesn't seem to be one much for conversation.

Well No-Majs usually can't see 'em for one. And... [Huh, she's never had to think about that.] I mean they're technically beasts but some people have said they should be given being status.

I don't think they really care much.

So they're not that intelligent?

Not really. Kinda like house elves?

'cept you don' know what those are either, huh?

I take it they aren't like the elves in the Lord of the Rings books? Are they like maids or something?

They're sorta like brownies, yeah.

A lot of the ritzy, old name families have entire lineages of them in their service. And I mean you can hold a conversation with them but it's sorta like talking to a little kid.

....... look, the only brownies I know are the chocolate opposite of blondies.

[Your world sounds like a trip and a half, Queenie.] Little kids can have pretty unique views of the world. Maybe those elves do, too?

[She just has to laugh at that because really she thought brownies were pretty common knowledge, even by no-maj standards.]

Oh yeah, they do. I made friends with some of the house elves that worked at school. They were always helpin teach me how to sew and fix things and stuff.

Sounds pretty handy. I can't sew to save my life unless you count stitching someone's wounds up.

See I was never that good at healing spells.

[And she frowns a little because she just thought of something.]

Which is exactly what Pukwudgie house kinda leans towards so...

Why'd they pick me?

Maybe... there was something about you that they thought would be a type of healing that wasn't like what everyone else can do?

I s'pose... [She doesn't really see it but that's kind of the point, isn't it.]

It kinda sucks they never tried to give you direction in that. Sounds sloppy.
