Week 1

[With the introduction to the relationship experiment and their overseeing hosts done with, the Champions are left to their own devices to explore the first floor of the mansion as they please. Cece and Kip will pop-up every once in a while to chit-chat but for the most part they're somewhere inaccessible.

Each morning the Champions are awakened promptly at 7 am by PAL's even, almost laid back voice announcing the time and each evening at 10 pm to announce when the kitchen is closing for the night. Unlike the Overseers, he doesn't seem to be one much for conversation.

I don't believe we've gotten quite so far as to make artificial limbs just yet. This technology is a bit more Niflheim's speciality.

It was a lot to get used to at first, but it's come in reeeeeally handy.

Technology enhanced through means one might call supernatural. Airships and things like that. The craft is somewhat limited at present, but the world's general level of technology is advancing quite impressively in recent years.

I wouldn't be too surprised to see an arm like yours produced back home within the next five years, at most.

Heh, maybe when we make it out of this stupid place, you can go back and talk about all the cool tech you learned from me.

I may just do precisely that. A healer has his limits, and regrowing an arm is a bit beyond even me. Something like what you have may just be indispensable.

Healer? Like, doctors and stuff?

I can try and draw up some designs for you. Though, uh, I don't know how easy materials are gonna be for you to get.

Not...exactly, though in a technical sense you are not very far off. To your other point, you may be correct. There is little point in design without the skill or material to utilize them, and I have neither.

Huh. Something like the stuff in Bunkers and Badasses or something?

I mean, maybe if we somehow get the stuff I need here, I can try to build something for you to take back. It won't be as good as the stuff Hyperion could make, but it won't be, like... terrible.

If we find ourselves unable to pick the lock or break it down, our only remaining course of action may simply be to locate the key.

My guess is that it is either with the loudmouth and his assistant, or hidden somewhere in the facility. The assistant seems the competent of the two, so she may be the better option.
