week 1
[With the introduction to the relationship experiment and their overseeing hosts done with, the Champions are left to their own devices to explore the first floor of the mansion as they please. Cece and Kip will pop-up every once in a while to chit-chat but for the most part they're somewhere inaccessible.
Each morning the Champions are awakened promptly at 7 am by PAL's even, almost laid back voice announcing the time and each evening at 10 pm to announce when the kitchen is closing for the night. Unlike the Overseers, he doesn't seem to be one much for conversation.
Enjoy your week, Champions.]
[ooc: welcome to week 1, everyone! This first week is a peace week which means there will be no murder this weekend! Feel free to start submitting threads for the benefactors]

Later on, she can be found in the kitchen. There, she begins to pull out the ingredients for stew. She cuts up the meat and veggies, and then tosses them all into a pot with a bit of flower and what looks to be some kind of stock. ...But then comes the hard part. She doesn't know how to use these contraptions. They're all modern. So there is a very, very long moment of being confused before she tries to look for... Any instruction as to how to use anything. ]

[Ardyn seemed to be doing about the same as Clarith; at the very least, it looked like he wasn't too familiar with most of the plantlife.]

[ She's a bit nervous. Ardyn, unfortunately, reminds her of a few too many of the village men who were unkind to her in looks. So she's, of course, cynical.
We only g-grew trauben.

[She seemed nervous, he noted. Maybe that was due to how the damned profiles made him sound like some kind of lunatic tyrant. Ardyn smiled to try and set her a little more at ease, speaking in a light tone.]
I find myself unfamiliar with that one--Lucis is still lacking in plantlife, I'm afraid.

I-It's... Used for wine. Elphegort is... F-Famous for it...
no subject
Is that so? You'll have to forgive me, I've not heard of Elphegort before.
no subject
[ Don't worry, at least she's talking? ]

[this poor girl is gonna faint and he doesn't have healing magic right now] That's quite interesting, to have so many bordering you. Lucis is its own continent--Niflheim and Tenebrae share a landmass to the west, and Accordo is in the south.
Traveling between countries must certainly be easier for you than it is for me, I'm sure.

I-I don't... N-No one wants a Netsuma around. So my mother and I, we--
[ ...And that's when it hits her. Her mother. ...Well, now she's panicking for another reason. ]
...No no no, I n-need to get back...!

Kitchen
Uh. Clarith, right? Need help there?
[She looks a little lost.]
no subject
[ Stew would take a few hours, after all. ]
no subject
[He walks over to look at her work.]
What're you trying to make?
no subject
[ WHAT IS ALL OF THIS STUFF IT MAKES NO SENSE IS IT MAGIC? ]
no subject
[He moves the pot onto the stove, fiddles with the dial, and--ta-dah! Let there be flame. Junpei adjusts the gas until it's at low heat.]
You just said simmer, right? That should do it.
no subject
...Th-Thank you! That should be fine...!
no subject
You, uh... You've never seen a gas range before, have you.

[ ...Junpei she's still wearing the medieval dress, although the sleeves have been tied back a bit. ]

HI ROOMIE - Sun/Mon
Nice to meet you. Which one's mine? I need a break from this shit.

[ Listen these are way fancier than Clarith's beds. Her own probably actually just have straw in the mattresses. ]
no subject
Thanks, Sister Clarith. [She's a nun, right? Sister makes sense.] I'm Lee. Looks like we're stuck together.
no subject
[ ...Right. Her profile says she's a nun. ]
A-Ah, my profile's wrong! I work in a village that grows trauben.
no subject
[damn she's hungry, she's realizing, and she's got to make her roommate at least a little comfortable] What's trauben? [sounds like food]
