Week 5

[It's been five weeks (since you looked at me) and with the deaths of Shadow and Rukia, the group that was initially 20 strong has dwindled down to ten. Ten people in the span of a month and, even with the Overseers seeming increase in empathy for the remaining Champions, there is no end in sight for the Champion Excellence Program.

And again at 7 am on Sunday the mechanical woman's voice chimes to awaken the remaining champions on Sunday morning. After the initial wake-up call there is no new floor announcement this week.

And again the Champions are awakened they have regained one new memory from the ones they've lost. Starting again on Sunday, as well, Jamie and Bolton will be back to their usual office hours in their usual locations.]

[There's air in the media room is thick with the smell of blood buttery popcorn. There's no one visible right away from the doorway but there is a movie playing on the giant screen.

Then Lightning's voice cuts through the music and narration and Jamie's head pops up from where he'd been slouched in a chair in the front row.]

[Why is there a totem pole of teenage girls and Xander watching his movie from the hallway?]

You guys have better sound quality. [He's still facing them but he's also just gonna...sink down further back into his chair. An observant Champion might notice how pink his face is getting by the second.]

[He walks in (mostly so Light will stop having a conniption about them blocking the door) and takes a seat.]

I do hope the story isn't too far in?

I am actually. His stuff right up until "A Troll in Central Park" was pretty spectacular, especially when it came to the backgrounds.

That's not somethin' I would've picked out, but yeah. Some of 'em almost felt real, as I recall.
