...no, I understand that feeling. I'm not certain I can truly explain how this is different. But each of us was ready to give Clarith up for the other's sake.

You were willing to give up the one person who made you happy, even when everything else was going wrong, just for some rival who came out of nowhere? And her, too? That's... I don't think I could have done that. But thinking about it that way, it's really noble of you.

Sometimes it's hard to figure things out, even if you need to. But I think you've done a great job. We all have, and we're going to need to do more of it. It looks like we'll need to strike before they give the motive.
