[Come week 3 of the Champion Excellence Program the high-flying feelings that came with the dodgeball game last week has dissipated, especially after the...everything that was that trial. Satan Mask sure was a thing that happened.

Just like last week, right on the dot at 7 am, the mechanical woman's voice chimes to awaken the remaining champions on Sunday morning. After the initial wake-up call though there's a new message tacked on:]

Congratulations, Champions! By surviving your second trial, you have unlocked the third floor of the ship. A new mini map has been added to your P.I.P.! To access the second floor please stand on the teleporter and select the floor you wish to be teleported to.

[And again the Champions are awakened they have regained one new memory from the ones they've lost. Starting again on Sunday, as well, Jamie and Bolton will be back to their usual office hours in their usual locations.]

And if they have any control over the order we recover memories in, it's likely they'd keep that from us to maintain an illusion of omnipotence.

You mean how Jane-chan's are in order and mine aren't?

It's at the very least proof that they aren't simply coming back in chronological order...it's entirely possible they're keeping certain things from us on purpose, to control our reactions.

Hmph, you expected anything less from people who have already displayed a willingness to use our most personal motivations as tools to manipulate us?

Not really, but some decency some time would be nice.

I wouldn't expect it. The sorts of people who would come up with a scenario like this, aren't the type to consider such things.

You do have a point, and they've already gotten into our heads.

Not to mention tampered with our physiology.

[He taps the PIP on his arm.]

Something like this would be a grave breach of Federation law, along with bringing the Kukai Foundation down on their neck's. If we were in my universe, U-TIC would just have to sit back and watch the carnage if the situation here were exposed.

Which brings us to the problem of exposing them.

A problem that would solve itself if we were able to escape, but I'm inclined to hope that if we manage that, siccing some form of authorities on them would be unnecessary. I can be merciful, but in this case I'd take great enjoyment in burning everyone responsible for orchestrating this farce of an experiment to the ground.

You sound a little scary when you put it like that, but I also can't blame you.

If I only sound a little scary, then I must be slipping. But I suppose I should leave some left for everyone else to take out their own vengeance.

Relax, it's not you I'm trying to intimidate. And I suppose a certain amount of surprise is to be expected...you haven't seen me anywhere near my worst.
