[Well that weekend sucked. The Champions are down a dad and a bean and shrinking their numbers smaller and smaller, less and less.

There's no sign of life in the spaceport aside from PAL's omnipresent voice and SIS, the helpful asSIStant who has some control over certain heres and theres in the spaceport. She (and PAL) are available at all times and can appear anywhere if called. There is, however, a new floor to explore. Just hop in the elevator and pchoo.]

Nothing about this supposed killing, not yet. But I know what my next memory was going to be, if the pattern held back then. My sister's death. If anything would have spurred me to kill that would have been it.

[ The more he hears about Xander, the more he feels a sort of... not connection, perhaps; he doesn't know Xander that well. But there's certainly more than one common thread between them.

He wonders... just how deeply do their similarities run? ]

This whole... memory thing. It feels like the first time around, we got memories back when it was convenient for whoever's running this thing. Those incentives weren't the only motives. It's manipulation, but it's effective.

I wonder if that's what happened with you.

...I wouldn't put it past them. Hold back the worst of them until they needed to spur me on. They've shown they can erase and shift them with ease now... And a man is made of his memories. They could make any of us exactly the dolls they need with a little shifting around and the right treat.

And none would blame you for it. The fact they've taken so many from your world is just setting you all up for the kind of drama they seem to feed off of.

If I thought I could survive it I would happily chop this off. Gods, if I didn't have debts to pay I would do so regardless. Bleed out a free man.

[ Luna. Prompto. Ardyn. As dark as the thought is, he wouldn't be surprised if Gladio and Ignis were next. God... Ignis, without his memories and his eyesight.

Likely. But I suppose sometimes the need to fight has to be stronger than the actual odds for success.
