Week 7

[Well that weekend sucked. The Champions are down a dad and a bean and shrinking their numbers smaller and smaller, less and less.

There's no sign of life in the spaceport aside from PAL's omnipresent voice and SIS, the helpful asSIStant who has some control over certain heres and theres in the spaceport. She (and PAL) are available at all times and can appear anywhere if called. There is, however, a new floor to explore. Just hop in the elevator and pchoo.]

Anyone who'd dismiss your opinion because you're "just a kid" is a fool. I think you're sensible in a place greatly lacking sense. And I personally find that rather valuable.

See, you know, I'd...I'd like to think you're right. Really, I do. But Junpei was right - I don't know everything, and I should stop acting like I do. It's just like how I was back home, always assuming and supposing...never really taking other's viewpoints into account because they just sounded so ridiculous. But everyone turned out to be telling me the truth all along, and I was just too blind to see it.

No one is always right. It's important to remember that, of course. When I say I find your opinion valuable I don't mean that because I think you're always correct. I'm glad you do realize that having an open mind is important.

But that doesn't mean your thoughts can't still be valuable anyway. You simply need to find a middle ground.

[Took her long enough to open up that mind of hers.

Jane blinks, then her brow furrows in thought. A middle ground, huh?]

...It feels hard to hit on a middle ground, though. Especially when people's emotions are running so high. You've got to be sort of...stable to do that in those moments, right?
