[Well that weekend sucked. The Champions are down a dad and a bean and shrinking their numbers smaller and smaller, less and less.

There's no sign of life in the spaceport aside from PAL's omnipresent voice and SIS, the helpful asSIStant who has some control over certain heres and theres in the spaceport. She (and PAL) are available at all times and can appear anywhere if called. There is, however, a new floor to explore. Just hop in the elevator and pchoo.]

Like you said, our surroundings weren't so terrible in the first place.

I don't know, even a nice place still has murder in it.

...I guess there is something about making a physical change that makes you feel like you have more control over an uncontrollable situation.

That's true. And in our space station, we were sending messages to someone called "Temerity," who was helping us in code. If we stood by them, we put red flowers on our doors. So I came up with a cover, the "Space Station Beautification Project," where we put all kinds of art and decorations all over the entire station to distract from it! It was a little fun. Even Togami-san finally got into it, though he complained the whole way.

That does sound like Togami. [After a moment, though, he perks up just a mite.] This "Temerity"--that was someone from outside?

We weren't sure. Knowing what we do now, it sounds like it must have been Bolton-san -- remember what that woman said to Jamie-san before she killed him? But we had no idea then.

Oh. [He deflates again.] Damn. --Uh, sorry, I just mean... Never mind.

No, it's... everything in here is complicated, isn't it?

Wouldn't be worth orchestrating if it wasn't.

Billions of people, like you said. It feels like if we just put one thing together, the rest will finally make sense.

The answer might be in our missing memories. Or something close to the answer, anyway. Why else tamper with what we remember, but then gradually restore it? Each week, we get a little closer to understanding how we got here.

And the last thing in the line would be how we were kidnapped?

Who knows? Probably not much to remember if we were knocked out, but I'd at least like to know what happened next back home.

No kidding. Maybe we can still make it back to the right time and place. I'm fairly sure I know how to manage it by now... mostly.
