Week 7
[Well that weekend sucked. The Champions are down a dad and a bean and shrinking their numbers smaller and smaller, less and less.
There's no sign of life in the spaceport aside from PAL's omnipresent voice and SIS, the helpful asSIStant who has some control over certain heres and theres in the spaceport. She (and PAL) are available at all times and can appear anywhere if called. There is, however, a new floor to explore. Just hop in the elevator and pchoo.]

Seeing as Pyrrha was intent on staying, Nari shuffles around under the blanket a bit to face her, peeking our from under the blanket.]
... Jane told me about the new areas... and don't be worried... I won't do anything dumb. Just sleep.
[Food is a little sore subject for her. Going to eye it warily.]
no subject
That's good. I'm glad others are coming to see you too. We're all worried for you.
[Follows her gaze...]
I made it myself... It's alright, you don't have to eat it if you don't want to.
no subject
... I made a scene. I upset people. And you were worried?
[That makes no sense to her.]
No... I... I trust you. [Her girlfriend wouldn't try and kill her, right? She sits up and leans back against the wall.] Do you know what kind of meat it is?
no subject
Oh, good. [Her gaze slips to the meat.] I made sure that it's mostly pork. There was... other meats there. I wasn't sure what they were, or if they were safe to eat.
[Hehe... She looks back at Nari.]
Of course I've been worried, Nari. You upset me, but that doesn't mean I wont be more upset if I couldn't see you.
no subject
I don't think they'd feed us meats that weren't safe for human consumption... but we never know. [Don't mind if Nari takes it and start eating slowly.]
... I upset a lot of people... but... you guys don't understand. Two people died the way Ardyn did, and one had it be part of the cause of death... Poisoned food... And then Chowo... The memory I got back just made everything so, so much worse.
no subject
[She doesn't mind at all, Nari. She just sits, and watches, waits.]
...You're saying that someone else you knew... [Oh. She sighs.] Nari, you know I'm here for you. You can talk about anything you want.
no subject
[She eats for a little longer before letting a sigh skip.]
Two people, Rhys and Angel. They were a couple in our group. But they knew if they got out, they wouldn't be able to be together, or so they thought. Something really complicated... They did what Choromatsu did, but with hot chocolate. Angel passed in her sleep. Rhys........ there was a murderous AI in him. Who took over when technically Rhys should have been dead. They were trying for a Romeo and Juliet thing. Die together so they could always be together.
no subject
She sits, and watches Nari eat. And when it comes time for her to finally speak, she listens.]
...So they wanted to die together. That's... [She shakes her head.] It's awful that it would come to that, and even worse that one of them was taken over to still try and ruin things. I... I can see why this affected you so much.
no subject
It gets worse. [She laughs bitterly.] That AI tried to mess with me during the trial. The guy was named Handsome Jack, and he had heard everything I ever said to Rhys. He knew how to get to me. But he didn't know how I would react. I punched him hard... I thought I killed him. Passed out. Woke up after Rhys died of organ failure from what he did...
no subject
Well, anyone that names themselves "Handsome" Jack already sounds like they're trouble, and that...
[She shakes her head, unable to think of the right words to describe the horror. The worry.]
Disgusting, using everything your friend had known from spending time with you and using it to come at you like that... I'm so glad that you're alright.
no subject
I... almost wasn't. I got into a huge fight with Church after. I don't think we ever recovered from it... I don't want to face him. All my memories with him are strained after that trial. The others were more understanding about my reaction......... and then the next Friday happened.

[Sorry, Pyrrha, she's... not ready to tell you about what Choromatsu tried to do. She doesn't want to make this past trial worse.]
no subject
Even still, it earns a gasp.]
Oh. Nari... I'm so sorry. Someone being... that worried and afraid, it tears me apart to think about. Just like Clarith, and what happened to Choromatsu...
[She shakes her head, simply wanting the thoughts gone. But they're not leaving anytime soon.]
But... they were saved, at least in that moment. That counts for something, doesn't it?
no subject
[Can Pyrrha put two and two together from that?]
no subject
I...
[Sufficed to say, it never came up in their conversations.]
no subject
[Choromatsu didn't deserve to die like that.]
no subject
I never knew, I... I can't imagine how badly he was feeling when... [She can hardly believe it already, but it has to be true. Then there's the tears.]
But... but I couldn't leave him.
no subject
At that point... Choromatsu had lost his best friend, and the motive... none of us were handling things well... I'm sure he appreciated it...
no subject
It was the very least I could do. I just... I wish there was more I could have...
I wish none of that ever happened.
no subject
Same... but in a way I'm glad it did. I became close to him after that... I would have never had the chance or inclination to if it had just been like every other Friday.
