[Well that weekend sucked. The Champions are down a dad and a bean and shrinking their numbers smaller and smaller, less and less.

There's no sign of life in the spaceport aside from PAL's omnipresent voice and SIS, the helpful asSIStant who has some control over certain heres and theres in the spaceport. She (and PAL) are available at all times and can appear anywhere if called. There is, however, a new floor to explore. Just hop in the elevator and pchoo.]

[As before, it doesn't take too long for the planchette to start moving again. It seems slower than the first seance, though, and the message it spells is direct and deliberate.]

[The television abruptly stops the Morse code transmission, cutting to black as it lets out an unholy screech.]

[And it comes back up on two people, sitting in a somewhat sparsely furnished house watching the fourth wall intently.]

...the fuck was that about?

I don't know... you don't think it's just our TV, do you? Leaving it outside that long probably didn't do it any favours...

[Just when he's about to suggest he's never agreed with a fake-ass plank of wood before, the TV screeches, he jumps from the planchette, smacks his head on one of the few hard parts of the kiosk, curses like a sailor, and there's Ardyn and Yuuri and this is happening now.]

[FUCKOUIJA INDEED! Junpei grabs the sides of the TV like an idiot, but then shifts aside so Church can see.]

[ And Yuuri, reasonably enough for someone who has just been yelled at by the TV, jumps in her seat like someone who's just seen a ghost. ]

[ And then her eyes go painfully wide ]

[He makes kind of a choking noise, bows his head, then nods. When he picks his face back up, his eyes are absolutely brimming.]

Yeah. Yeah, we... we can hear you. Hey. Hey, ojou-san.

[ Yuuri draws in a sharp, hard breath and then -- you know what, it's all sorts of improper, but off the sofa she goes and she hurries over, settling herself down as close to the TV as she can get ]

Are you-- you're-- oh, I've been wanting to talk to you for so long, I had so much I wanted to say, and now I can't even--!

[ She has to bow her head and cover her face for a moment. Sorry, Junpei, let her collect herself for a second. ]

[At some point in the conversations, someone else appears in the background of wherever Yuuri and Ardyn are. A familiar someone they probably won't immediately notice but Church and Junpei will definitely be able to see.

She doesn't seem to immediately realize her change in location because she's just staring very intently at the wall and running her index finger over empty air.]

Uhhhhhhhhh.

[SQUINT???]

SIS, what are you doing?

Huh-?

[OH HEY BEST FRIEND]

SIS? How did you get here?

[Hearing Church's voice catches her attention first and she turns to look in the direction of the TV, her brows furrowing in confusion. Her mouth opens and it looks like she's saying Church? but no sound comes out. Then she looks down and the look on her face is the most confused and startled any of them have ever seen her look. Almost afraid.

Ardyn? Her mouth moves still without sound. It looks like she's trying to say you but in a blink she's gone again.]

That's, er...Alarming.

[Of course, this can't last forever. You'll have some warning, at least: a few sluggish circles drawn by the planchette around the board's GOODBYE, shortly after S.I.S.'s unexplained appearance and only a minute before the broadcast unceremoniously dies, like the television's plug was pulled.

It wasn't, of course. A moment later, it snaps back to the same staticky channel from before. The beeping is still there, too, but it sounds different:]

[Even with all the warnings, it's still too sudden for Junpei, who only wants to see and talk to them forever. When it's clear they're not coming back, he sighs and sits back on his heels.]

[The same period of copying and translation later, he hands the results over to Church.]
