[Well that weekend sucked. The Champions are down a dad and a bean and shrinking their numbers smaller and smaller, less and less.

There's no sign of life in the spaceport aside from PAL's omnipresent voice and SIS, the helpful asSIStant who has some control over certain heres and theres in the spaceport. She (and PAL) are available at all times and can appear anywhere if called. There is, however, a new floor to explore. Just hop in the elevator and pchoo.]

So they...promoted him via giving him new hardware?

Or his new position requires him to make personal appearances, when before he could simply watch and occasionally manipulate things with his mechanical arms.

...Do we want to know why he might have to make "personal appearances"? It's not as if he has clearly posted office hours.

...for the sake of appearances? Lord Xander always did so. Sir Kip did when he was alive.

So...we're going to have to expect a creepy sentinal wandering in from time to time to see if he can get the television working to watch his space soccer. Greeeeeat.

Space soccer?

Yes. Spoccer. Because this is kind of like...you know, a grill and bar place where you go watch the space sports. Which are probably still just sports.

I did not know. But I see now! This soccer is a sport, and Sir PAL would watch it in a place like this.

If he's a fan, yeah, he'd be all up in places like this.

Then it's a matter of whether he is a fan of space soccer. Unfortunately, I'm not certain. I only know he enjoys baking.

Yes, he baked a cake for us one week.

...none of us were willing to eat it.

I am glad none of you did so.

[Still, that begs the question if this new PAL with a giant robo body liked to bake, too.]

Still...if he's a baker, I suppose...that might give us something to work with.

Probably not, but I mean...maybe finding some common ground with him could lead to something.
