[Well that weekend sucked. The Champions are down a dad and a bean and shrinking their numbers smaller and smaller, less and less.

There's no sign of life in the spaceport aside from PAL's omnipresent voice and SIS, the helpful asSIStant who has some control over certain heres and theres in the spaceport. She (and PAL) are available at all times and can appear anywhere if called. There is, however, a new floor to explore. Just hop in the elevator and pchoo.]

[Nari is under the blanket while a pigeon is bouncing up and down on her to get her up. Hooting loudly. So basically what she did to her human yesterday.]

[Kipsie really loves you Nari, look at her go. Jane smiles softly, slightly, and closes the door behind her as she enters, approaching slowly, her steps deliberately audible.]

I brought you something. For...something to do, if you're going to be in here for a long time. [She places the sketchbook and writing utensils gently onto the mattress where Nari is curled up - so if she's on the top bunk, that's some tiptoe action going on there.] If you want to write, or doodle, or even just...tear up or burn some paper. It's from the new places that opened up.

[Kipsie loves her a lot, and Jane coming in just renews her efforts to get the redhead up. Like singing Queen's songs at the top of her tiny little lungs.

Which is enough to get Nari to reach out and grab her bird, pulling the pigeon under the covers with her. Then she finally peeks out at Jane.]

Hm...? New places?

That's right. We've...got a Spacebucks, or whatever. A convenience store. Another restaurant, some other rooms to do stuff in. And...weird, memorial concourses. There's just my group, and the group before, but...they've got names and pictures and mementos, and everything. And I bet - I bet there's ones for the other groups, too.

... I think I'm done with coffee.

[Even if Spacebucks seems like a neat novelty, coffee has been forever ruined. Tea is getting there, too.]

I don't want to see them.

[Jane's not going to push her if Nari does not want to see the thing.]

There's a souvenir shop for that nebula-place we're supposed to be in, too. It looks...like it'd be a good thing to laugh at, a little. You know. At the absurdity of it all.

[She's going to regret giving up coffee fast. And she's starting to hate memorials.]

I... like souvenir shops. It's weird seeing what people will buy to remember places.

Isn't it just? Or...you know, when you get in the habit of picking up souvenirs, you end up buying the most ridiculous things, like a theme. Like keychains, or pins...Christmas ornaments...stuff like that.

[Jane's opinions on souvenir Christmas ornaments do not reflect the Mun's avid love of them.]

Spoons.... it's the spoons that get me.

Do the people who collect the spoons even use them? I doubt it. They just...probably have framed spoons all over their house.

Nope. They have special racks that they display them on.

...Why would you put them on racks and not frame them. You could put them in shadowboxes or something.

They're special made racks that they hang off of to show off the handle and the scoopy thing. That's where the pictures and stuff usually are.

I still think if you made special shadowboxes with other things reminding you of the place you got it would be an interesting crafting hobby to take up. I mean, if you're going to collect spoons, go absurd.
