week 2
[It's been about a week since the Champions woke up in their new consumerist hellscape of a temporary home and, despite a few odd goings on and the bomb incident with Church and Nari, things haven't been as bad as they could be. No one is even dead yet! But let's see how long that lasts.
Enjoy your week, Champions.]
(( Also, don't forget to submit your AC and item rolls! You can also bother your Overseer here. ))

Next is Splankets, where he'd just grabbed a bunch of plain, cool-colored blankets before to make his fort in the kiosk. This time, he sets the machine to print two custom jobs, a pale blue and lilac mottled one covered in black cats, and a black one with a large gothic white cross. He looks a bit hesitant carrying the second one if you catch him on the way back to his kiosk. Neither of them gets hung up, they're going on his bed.
The rest of the day, he can be found in random shops or even wandering the halls. He's either taking notes or playing games on his tablet, or checking in every nook and cranny he can reach. What's he searching for? If the food court isn't really occupied, he'll clear out a space by moving tables so he can get some shadowboxing time in.]

Good morning! Wow, that's a lot of food.

[He shrugs, tasting the stew for seasoning and adding in a bit more pepper.]
There might be a few people here who don't really cook, so I don't mind. It's something to do, and it might foster some good will. Would you like some? There's beef stew and a vegetarian casserole.

[There's bowls, plates, and silverware next to the food, so people can take whatever they like.]
Dad would be happy that I'm carrying on his lesson to feed people if you want to make friends.

[Intimidating aura and all that.]

[He dishes up some stew for himself, then hands Yurika a couple slices of rosemary bread.]
This is one of my favorite recipes.

That's... unfortunate. Maybe you can collaborate with someone, see if that helps?

Oh, and be careful not to mix up sugar and salt. I've seen that happen to a lot of people who are rushing. You can't rush good food.

Hello! I... don't believe we've really spoken to one another yet. [...A pause.] I mean, I wouldn't want to get in the way of your dinner...

Um... it's no trouble? Really, it's okay. I'm not used to company, but I don't mind. Did you try some of the food I made? Please tell me if you like it.
[Is this how to be social? He feels like he's babbling a bit.]

You mean the stew? Or something else? [Everyone's always making so much food around here, she doesn't want to be inconsiderate.]
I'm glad then. I'm Pyrrha Nikos. And you must be Soma Cruz, right?

He tries to smile at her a little, close-lipped as always, and it's difficult to tell if the expression reaches his eyes with them hidden. It seems genuine enough, though.]
Yeah, that's me. I guess I stand out pretty well with my coloring, huh?

Her smile is plain on her face, not a sign of any sort of intent, just trying her best to be friendly. Which is why she slides int the seat opposite him.]
It reminds you of your family? That's very sweet of you.

Yeah, my dad taught me most of what I know about cooking, and the bread's one of his favorite recipes. He smells like rosemary all the time, just like I do.
