[It's been about a week since the Champions woke up in their new consumerist hellscape of a temporary home and, despite a few odd goings on and the bomb incident with Church and Nari, things haven't been as bad as they could be. No one is even dead yet! But let's see how long that lasts.

It's one of the skills I have that doesn't involve combat, so it's something I can share. And sometimes working with a familiar recipe is almost like meditation, which is good for the nerves.

Oh, I have! Just people always seem to be strangely too busy to eat when I do.

Oh, absolutely! I don't want to disappoint anyone~

If you have dedication and know-how, that's a big part of it. Learn the basics first before you start experimenting. And if you mess up, you can always start over. Those are the most important things to remember.

Oh, and be careful not to mix up sugar and salt. I've seen that happen to a lot of people who are rushing. You can't rush good food.

You can't? But isn't it more convenient to try and make a faster way?

Are you familiar with chemistry at all? Cooking and baking are chemistry for hungry people. Sometimes you can't rush or shortcut chemistry without the whole thing blowing up in your face. Just because a collapsing cake won't kill anybody doesn't mean it's a desirable result.

That does sound overcomplicated. I guess that's why they invented instant, but fresh still tastes better.

Hence the expression "nothing worthwhile is ever easy." Though cooking does get easier with practice. But yeah, you can't rush, unless you want stuff to be burned or undercooked.

I thought it looked perfectly fine, but nobody had anything good to say about it. At least Arianna-chan ate a little, but no one else!

Did you use unusual toppings or something? I know some of the things Japanese people put on pizza are considered really weird in America.

I don't think so? I stayed away from the alien stuff.
