[It's been about a week since the Champions woke up in their new consumerist hellscape of a temporary home and, despite a few odd goings on and the bomb incident with Church and Nari, things haven't been as bad as they could be. No one is even dead yet! But let's see how long that lasts.

[Ardyn just kind of...blinked a couple of times, barely registering a single damn word Church had said.]

[ Noctis is out and about... surprisingly early? He looks kind of cranky, but he holes up in the Starbucks with a huge cup of vanilla bean milk tea. It's delicious, and it's got a little bit of cinnamon in it. He's got more stationery, and after he finishes about half of his tea, he looks... more thoughtful. In between the letters he's working on, he's drawing. Noctis is no artist, but it's not terrible.

After that, he washes his mug and gathers his stationery, then heads over to Splankets. For a while, he's thoughtful... then he starts printing some blankets. There's a chocobo, a sylleblossom, a moogle, Carbuncle, and-- oh jesus christ what the hell is that

He leaves that one there for no reason at all, but takes the others back to his kiosk. Choromatsu gets the chocobo and Carbuncle.

... And then... Noctis goes to the food court. For a very long time, he stares at Garden Fresh... then makes a disgusted noise and goes to Flavortown. ]

You came back. Instead of simply... [Ardyn gestured with one hand, words briefly failing.] ...walking out to forgo the matter entirely.

[Fukawa came here this morning to deal with being exhausted. It's possible that, bent over the table as she is, he didn't even notice her. But she noticed him, even if it takes a few moments.]
