Week 3

Week 3

[Two weeks in, and all at once four people are dead. Chitose, Miki, Lucina, and Tsurugi - whatever the circumstances, however any of you may feel, their rooms are just as empty at the end of the week. If you check your P.I.P.s, you'll find that their pictures on the profile page have gone monochrome.

C.E.C.E.'s morning announcement comes like clockwork on Sunday. This time, though, there's an addendum to her usual message:]

Congratulations, Champions! By surviving your first trial, you have unlocked the second floor of the ship. A new mini map has been added to your P.I.P.! To access the second floor please stand on the teleporter and select the floor you wish to be teleported to.

[In addition to the new floor, the Champions will find that they've gained another memory this week.]

Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday

(( Welcome to Week 3! Don't forget to check in and submit your memory regains! Turn in your benefactor threads for sweet loot, too! ))

[Cool, cool, two teenagers going to stand around talking about killing Rox like they're discussing the weather.]

Mm-hm, right. [She can't say she blames anyone in particular for bungling that chance. Without an organized effort or some sort of signal, the way things happened in the end was just natural. Still...] In the long run, it might be smarter to take that chance than try to wait things out here. With the conditions of this place, I doubt Chitose will be the only to fall for the Overseers' incentives.

[Surely there are enough heroic types here who wouldn't mind taking a bullet so everyone else can escape. Right?]

We'd have to convince people to even take the risk in the first place, but if we overwhelm her, with a concentrated effort, she'd only be able to lose one, perhaps two depending on her reflexes with a gun. Dudely seems the type who doesn't have weapons, would rather a peaceful solution to violence. We still might be able to sway him to our side, we'd just have to get him away from her.

That's a good point, about Dudely-san. [I can't believe I have to type the words "Dudely-san", thanks a lot] If we could get him on our side somehow, maybe we could even get away with it without anyone dying. Especially if he knew what was happening beforehand, he could potentially stop her from firing at all...

Ah, though of course, there are still so many "what-ifs" to account for. Starting with the ability to plan anything at all, without them knowing.
