Week 3

[Two weeks in, and all at once four people are dead. Chitose, Miki, Lucina, and Tsurugi - whatever the circumstances, however any of you may feel, their rooms are just as empty at the end of the week. If you check your P.I.P.s, you'll find that their pictures on the profile page have gone monochrome.

C.E.C.E.'s morning announcement comes like clockwork on Sunday. This time, though, there's an addendum to her usual message:]

Congratulations, Champions! By surviving your first trial, you have unlocked the second floor of the ship. A new mini map has been added to your P.I.P.! To access the second floor please stand on the teleporter and select the floor you wish to be teleported to.

[In addition to the new floor, the Champions will find that they've gained another memory this week.]

[Osomatsu greets Max with a smile and turns his pumpkin around to show him more clearly.]

It's Akatsuka-sensei! He's uh... an old friend.

I was gonna do one of my brothers but then I realized I'd need four more pumpkins so this guy'll do instead, yeah?

You could just put all of them on one pumpkin, if you had a finer tool. This one looks really good, though!

I'm not gonna draw all five on them on one pumpkin! I can barely draw a dude facing the right!

You could get away with less detail on them, at least.

But then all of them would complain like "You stupid, shitty eldest! You could've at least drawn your twin brothers right!"

Geeeez, everybody's a critic. Don't see them in here carving pumpkins. Or, well, Karamatsu.

They should be glad I even decided to carve them on at all!

Which, I mean, you totally didn't. But hypothetically!

[He flips the pumpkin over, and starts to carve into it despite not even being done with the first time.]

I'll show them who's shitty and stupid!

[Well you're in for a ride because it's.. already looking awful and he's only just begun. But maybe he's going to make them look terrible on purpose?]

So if you had a pumpkin right now, what would 'ya carve on it?

I do have one! I like the galaxy pattern on it, though.

[But he considers the question, leaning up to sit against the edge of a table.]

.....Rox. So it wouldn't be sad when it rotted, or we could smash it when we needed to.

...don't know why they wouldn't. I mean, especially if it were all dried up.

Okay then carve her dumb face on it, and with everyone around we can put it in a bonfire or something and watch her burn.

It'll be a bonding experience.

.....that actually does sound fun. Not sure how good it'll be, carving is pretty different from drawing.

But does it need to look good if it's that old hag?

Uh, yeah? No fun burning it if it’s not recognizable.

Just draw a picture of a butt and everyone will know exactly who you're talking about.

....pffff, okay. We'll just all gather 'round the butt fire and burn a giant pumpkin butt.
