Week 3

[Two weeks in, and all at once four people are dead. Chitose, Miki, Lucina, and Tsurugi - whatever the circumstances, however any of you may feel, their rooms are just as empty at the end of the week. If you check your P.I.P.s, you'll find that their pictures on the profile page have gone monochrome.

C.E.C.E.'s morning announcement comes like clockwork on Sunday. This time, though, there's an addendum to her usual message:]

Congratulations, Champions! By surviving your first trial, you have unlocked the second floor of the ship. A new mini map has been added to your P.I.P.! To access the second floor please stand on the teleporter and select the floor you wish to be teleported to.

[In addition to the new floor, the Champions will find that they've gained another memory this week.]

[ without a word, yuri runs to the room where the skates and hockey sticks are and immediately starts putting on his skates. that should be a clear indication of how excited he is for this!

it's really something else, watching him skate on the stars. he's almost doing a full-blown routine, doing step sequences and spins and jumps without stopping. ]

[Luna takes that as a sign that Yuri is happy with this gift! Good! She clasps her hands together, resting her fingers against her chin as she watches him. It's all rather magical to her.]

anyway. yuri will continue to skate effortlessly, and it's clear he's in the zone, earbuds in his ears now as he skates on the stars.

after some time, he skates up to luna, taking one earbud out. ]

If Noctis could be here, would he be as amazed as she is? Luna hopes so. Maybe she should have told Prompto about this...]

Bathbombs and a glitter canon. The others were willing to part with the items when I told them of my plan. I truly am glad it worked out as well as it did.

why do people here care so much about him? nobody's ever gone this far to make him happy before. nobody's given him this sort of attention and...yuri still has yet to adjust to all of it, but luna is kind.

he doesn't want her to die.

he looks away, unable to look her in the eye, but the words that escape his lips speak wonders for how much this means to him. two words: ]

[That simple thank you is enough for her. She reaches over and gently pats Yuri's head.]

You're welcome... Don't ever despair, Yuri. So many people here care for you. They all want to see you happy.

he's not used to this. at all. he knows people care about him back at home, but to hear it is another thing entirely. ]

You'd better not die.

[ he keeps saying it, but he means it. he's going to do whatever it takes to survive. ]

When we leave this place... may I watch you skate once more?

he doesn't know what to say...so he just. nods. ]

Yuri receives a smile in return.]

Thank you. I hope by then Noctis will be with me once more. He would be quite fascinated by this ice skating.

What's so special about that Noctis guy?

Many things. He is the new King of Lucis and someone very dear to me. I could not be happier to have someone become my future husband than Noctis.

[There's just so much love as she's talking about him!!!!]

Prompto treats me like royalty since I am the former Princess of Tenebrae and the Oracle of Eos. Though I have told him he could be more informal with me.

So what's being an Oracle like?

I cannot see the future for one. I simply commune with the gods, the Astrals, and create the covenant between them and the king. My main purpose besides that is healing those affected by darkness, and it is for that I am revered by all in the world.

[Can you imagine being worshiped?]

So...I'm basically talking to a goddess right now.

A goddess? [That's a first.] Hmm... I am more like a vessel for their powers.
