Week 3
[Two weeks in, and all at once four people are dead. Chitose, Miki, Lucina, and Tsurugi - whatever the circumstances, however any of you may feel, their rooms are just as empty at the end of the week. If you check your P.I.P.s, you'll find that their pictures on the profile page have gone monochrome.
C.E.C.E.'s morning announcement comes like clockwork on Sunday. This time, though, there's an addendum to her usual message:]
Congratulations, Champions! By surviving your first trial, you have unlocked the second floor of the ship. A new mini map has been added to your P.I.P.! To access the second floor please stand on the teleporter and select the floor you wish to be teleported to.
[In addition to the new floor, the Champions will find that they've gained another memory this week.]

[Zombina steps to the side to let Penny in, flourishing her arms as if to say 'tada, this is my room and you have gained entrance to it.' Once Penny is inside, Zombina shifts from her usual joking demeanor to a more serious one.]

In all seriousness, though, I'm gonna hafta disagree with ya sayin' that ya ain't a real girl. You're currently existin'- unless this whole experience has just been me hallucinatin'- and ya are a girl, so as far as I'm concerned, ya are a real girl.

Speakin' of that, if you're not human, then what are ya? I gotta few guesses myself, but considerin' we're from different worlds, the terminology might be different, and I'd rather hear it from ya yourself anyway.

I'm... Mister Ironwood has always been VERY keen on keeping Atlas' military at the cutting edge of technology, and keeping real people off the battlefield as much as possible. I'm the culmination of that research. The first robotic unit capable of generating an Aura.

But the thing is, I don't think People will ever be ready. Sometimes... sometimes ya just gotta go out there and wing it. People'll be shocked and scared at first, yeah, but things'll settle down soon enough. Same thing happened at a larger scale when liminal species were revealed ta my world three years ago.

But ya know, People adapt and life goes on! Eventually, only the racist pricks and other assholes will vocally have a problem with it, and ya don't need ta give a fuck about them.
[Zombina laughs.]
I don't think anyone can be scared of ya once they get ta know ya Penny-chan. You're waaaay too adorable and innocent ta be scary.

Penny-chan, I know so. Anyone who deserves your friendship won't care if ya are a robot, a human, or something else. They'll care more the fact that you're Penny-chan the person they're friends with than that you're Penny-chan the robot.
