[The voice comes through not a large speaker, but through the device that's attached to each Champion's arm. Further investigation of the features of the device will reveal a list of profiles, a mini-map, and a list of rules. The hallways are shiny white and silver, with running lights along the floor and lights on the ceiling, and at the junction of the hallways is a sign with a knife and fork icon and an arrow pointing down the hall.

[...She hadn't noticed anyone in her peripherals. How very novel. Manaka glances in the direction of that voice, breaking her laser-focused forward stare with a blank expression.]

Wait, if we're in space, how come we aren't floating? Is there like, a gravity thing like in movies and stuff?

[ well. that reaction from earlier's got yuri curious. he's going to scroll through the profiles, find this guy's--prompto, what kind of name is that?--and then he's got a shit-eating grin his face. ]

[Prompto trips over an easel in the art room before it registers that that was a girl's voice--a young girl, very smol, not scary. As scared as he is, even, if that scream's anything to go by. He crouches there for a second behind the cover of a table, heart in his mouth, before he inches towards the door again and peeks towards where he thinks she went.]

Uh... hello? A-are you still there?

[You don't have room to talk girl at least your title is just one word.]

It sounds like a grand title to me! Exalt...to hold something or someone in very high regard...it would be rather fitting for a beautiful woman like yourself.

[When Jamie wakes in an unfamiliar bed with a head full of fog, a mouth full of cotton and clothes that look like something out of Star Trek his first reaction is, understandably, a surge of panic. This isn't his apartment, these aren't his clothes, what the hell is even happening-

But he forces himself to calm down. Deep breaths, in and out. It's fine. Everything is fine. When he finally emerges from room 4 he looks and feels a bit calmer but there's still an edge in his voice when he calls out,]

David? It's a little late in the season for Halloween pranks, dude.

A-ah...I am sorry, my friend, but I do not know how. I mean...we are on what appears to be some sort of spacecraft at the moment...I assume if any one of us attempted to leave it would not end well.

[We don't need to be dying in the cold vacuum of space today.]

[Manaka doesn't say anything when she's grabbed, wordlessly and pliantly following behind him. If he's expecting an equally awed reaction from her, though, he'll be disappointed; her expression doesn't change at all as she stares out the window in front of her, staring blankly ahead for one beat, and then another...

Finally, she turns her face toward him.]

I have absolutely no clue what you're talking about.

[ Roxy, who had pressed herself against the wall nearby in an effort to be stealthy, jumps a little. ]

Who the heck is David?

Eh?

[That has Osomatsu's expression looking a little confused, and he looks around the two of them for a moment as if just realizing that they weren't floating around.]

....oh man, you're totally right. I feel like we just got ripped off...

[He jumps in place once, twice, only to still be bound by the shackles that they call gravity. How disappointing.]

Osomatsu!

[Thank god, a familiar face. And it's Osomatsu, too...

Karamatsu meets Osomatsu halfway, moving his arm slightly behind him non too subtly. He doesn't...want to talk about that title right now.]

It appears so. It seems we have not dabbled in this genre much as of late, have we?

[But they will. Oh, they will.]

Where have the others gone?

[He just kind of hops over to Yuri's side to lean over and see what's on his PIP. And what he does see is...]

--What the hell? That whole thing's obviously a joke!

[That's honestly more encouraging than anything, so he actually is helping, believe it or not.]

I do, don't I? Heh...they could not fit enough descriptors for me in a single word, then.

[It'd help if all those descriptors didn't suck.]

Do you think if I peed out the window it'd reach back to Earth?

[After spending way too much time agonizing over...things, Karamatsu eventually wanders over to the espresso machine himself. He does enjoy good coffee on occasion, though he really is more of a tea person. Not that anyone would ever know with how he goes on about wine and the like.]

Quite the elaborate set up for a space station, non?

[Miki had ended up scrambling back into the room she'd come from - but the books aren't exactly calming her down at all. She strains to hear anything that might be coming from outside the library -- and she almost expects to hear shuffling footstep and low, eerie groans, so the sound of a young man's voice startles her somewhat.

...

Slowly, and carefully, she edges around the door just enough to get a clear view of the other side of the corridor. She's still crouched low, book held in her hands and slightly aloft, ready to swing it if she has to.]

... Yes, I'm still here.

Eeehhhhh?

[Osomatsu sounds... disappointed, almost.]

But, like, everyone knows about that stuff! You really don't?

It is when you make me almost jump out of my skin.

[She stands up again, book now tucked almost protectively under her arm and eyes him warily.]
