[Four weeks in the Starfield Penitentiary and seven people have lost their lives to Blaze Dudely's cruel game. At some point the robots cleaned up the mess left behind and by Sunday the involved rooms (including the fridge) are all clean and free of blood. In fact there's no sign left of any of the deaths that have happened on the ship so far by at least the next day. The only physical signs that people are gone are the empty beds.

On Sunday morning, you may find that you're recovering a a few other things as well - both strange dreams and some new items.

In addition, there's a new set of doors at the end of the corridor, in the space between the infirmary and the exercise yard. Looks like you've got a new wing to explore.]

Do you believe in destiny?

...Destiny?

Yeah. To an extent, I guess? Why?

It's something I think about sometimes - not the sort of destiny people talk about, but a specific goal you work towards your entire life.

[Is she unloading? She might be.]

That sort of thing, you know?

[chides]

Oh. Well...

[ like...korra. working to be the best avatar she can be. something like that, maybe? ]

I don't really know if I have something like that, but I know someone back home who does.

Really? [She's not all that surprised. There's plenty of people who believe in destiny like that, Pyrrha's certain.]

I was just thinking about something I dreamed about. It was with me back home, speaking to my headmaster, and... some other people, about something they wanted me to do.

[chides]

Yeah. My friend was born as our world's Avatar--the only person who can master all four elements. So...she's been working towards being the best Avatar she can be. That sort of thing.

[ and he admires her so damn much for it. ]

What did they want you to do?

All four elements? That's... amazing. No one in my world could... [She goes silent after a brief pause. No, that's not true, is it? Not anymore.]

They wanted me to help them with an experiment. Something involving someone as powerful as this "Avatar" you talked about.

[chides]

...Is this what you were talking about when you mentioned destiny?

[ working towards becoming that powerful sort of person? ]

...It's something I suddenly remembered. [Which explains it, doesn't it?]

If you knew where you wanted your life to go, and someone offered to do something that got you there quicker, wouldn't you take it?
