week 4

[Four weeks in the Starfield Penitentiary and seven people have lost their lives to Blaze Dudely's cruel game. At some point the robots cleaned up the mess left behind and by Sunday the involved rooms (including the fridge) are all clean and free of blood. In fact there's no sign left of any of the deaths that have happened on the ship so far by at least the next day. The only physical signs that people are gone are the empty beds.

On Sunday morning, you may find that you're recovering a a few other things as well - both strange dreams and some new items.

In addition, there's a new set of doors at the end of the corridor, in the space between the infirmary and the exercise yard. Looks like you've got a new wing to explore.]

Yes. I've fought without mats many times before.

[To say the least. She gives him a curt nod. But it's not like she sounds like she needs this either. No way.]

[he nods

and then promptly throws a punch, because apparently that was an all-clear. And he's already warmed up, Pyrrha, so let's hope you can do so very quickly]

[Akande, do we need to talk about you and your way of starting fights.

Pyrrha has just enough reaction time to avoid the fist rocketing towards her face by a few inches, spinning around and grabbing his arm and...

she's definitely going to try and judo throw this much larger person. Weight + force, right?

[Problem?

But that was an excellent rebuttal Pyrrha because THERE HIM GO. Landing hard, but he can take it. And what's more - he's trying to take her with him, twisting his hand to try and grab hold of her as he goes down]

[Just a little one.

But HEY she's still got it. They could take most of her powers but they'll never take her raw strength- and there she goes. He yanks her down with him until she's face down on the ground. But even so, she's quickly trying to pick herself up again.

[Same. It'd be awfully hard to take Akande's cybernetics from him - at least, without him noticing. They're such a part of him now that he can't imagine life without them; his life before the loss that necessitated them seems like a dream. Another person.

Maybe they'd act differently in the face of such memories. Likely not. But the person he is now growls softly, trying to use his grip to deliver another punch as he gets up- this one, to her gut]

[Pyrrha, thankfully, never need to get accustomed to cybernetics. She was whole and intact, despite the sometimes harsh training regiment she went through to get to where she was now. She could take a hit and get back up back home, no matter what.

Here, it's a little different. As they're both trying to get up, Pyrrha's too distracted to dodge this punch, and he gets her right in the gut. The only sound she makes is a sharp gasp.

But she does manage to deliver a kick to his hand, hopefully enough to release his grip. It looks like the punch did hurt... though the blunt of it seemed to be taken by the strange, red lines spreading across Pyrrha's body.
