[Four weeks in the Starfield Penitentiary and seven people have lost their lives to Blaze Dudely's cruel game. At some point the robots cleaned up the mess left behind and by Sunday the involved rooms (including the fridge) are all clean and free of blood. In fact there's no sign left of any of the deaths that have happened on the ship so far by at least the next day. The only physical signs that people are gone are the empty beds.

On Sunday morning, you may find that you're recovering a a few other things as well - both strange dreams and some new items.

In addition, there's a new set of doors at the end of the corridor, in the space between the infirmary and the exercise yard. Looks like you've got a new wing to explore.]

So you're from a rural area? What's it like?

[Soma's used to cities but he's also spent a lot of time in green spaces. He never thought he'd miss them this much, though. The sterility of a prison doesn't compare to an elegant city, much less the splendor of nature.]

[He smiles as he begins to explain.] The Appalachian Mountains are a place of great beauty. There's forest in many places along its ridges, though at times there can be danger there as well. But most of the time you'll come across a home and people who are glad to share their food and floor with a passing stranger.

Appalachia? That exists where I'm from, too. I've never been there, but the way you describe it? It sounds like a really peaceful place. Maybe someday I'll get to see it for myself, even if it's not exactly like the one you know.

[He smiles.] I hope you do. Maybe you will come across some of the families I've known, too. [Who he hopes will be welcoming.]

I can only hope so. And maybe, once we all get back to our own worlds, there might be a way for us to meet again under better circumstances.

[He nods.] I've already promised Mozu I'd visit her village someday.

I'll have to take you to my parents' place, treat you to home-cooked Spanish food. I hope I'm as good in the kitchen as my dad one day, but I'm getting there.

[He grins at that.] I'll be looking forward to that as well, then.

[Soma takes another look around the garden during a brief lull in conversation.]

Is there anything growing here that you recognize? I wanted to see if I could make dishes for each of us, something to remind us of home.

[silverguitarhero]

[He looks around as well, before walking over to a plant that seems to be growing tomatoes. He plucks one, sniffing it a little.] These seem close enough to the tomatoes I've tasted in my travels. I reckon they'd be just as good cut and roasted.

I could do that, maybe with some herbs? And don't they slice and fry green ones in the south?

[silverguitarhero]

That should taste right nice. [He nods at the second question.] Or can them, but I hope we'll not be long enough here to need that. [You gotta let the canned food sit for a bit to get the right taste.]
