[Four weeks in the Starfield Penitentiary and seven people have lost their lives to Blaze Dudely's cruel game. At some point the robots cleaned up the mess left behind and by Sunday the involved rooms (including the fridge) are all clean and free of blood. In fact there's no sign left of any of the deaths that have happened on the ship so far by at least the next day. The only physical signs that people are gone are the empty beds.

On Sunday morning, you may find that you're recovering a a few other things as well - both strange dreams and some new items.

In addition, there's a new set of doors at the end of the corridor, in the space between the infirmary and the exercise yard. Looks like you've got a new wing to explore.]

Max?

[There's quick movement, and Pyrrha's at Max's bedside. Looking... paler then usual, but she's more or less focused on this whole thing now because she just heard her friend gasping??]

A-are you alright? Are you choking? What is it?

[helladoptera]

[ Max is breathing heavily, and she's pale, but... alright, Pyrrha's here, focus on Pyrrha, she looks worried. ]

I'm... I'm fine. Dream... nightmare.

A nightmare...? [Yup, Pyrrha's here with her strong arms, and good temperament. Nothing's ever going to bring her down.]

Was it... like before? Like last week?

[helladoptera]

[ Her strong, strong arms. ]

Yeah, but... it was way stranger.

[tokencanadian]

[Strong enough to lift everyone's sins holy heck guys.]

That's... definitely concerning. If it made you wake up like that, then...

[Geeze, and she thought she was having a strange dream.]

[ I hope there are some happy Pyrrha/Max shippers somewhere in the universe. ]

It was definitely concerning, yeah. I don't... I don't know what to think.

[A small but very dedicated force at work out there, somewhere. Pyrrha has a hand out, putting it on Max's shoulder in case she's going to fall over. Or something??]

Do you... want to talk about it?

[Give her something to think about. Please.]

[ Max kind of... draws her legs up, sitting with them under her chin on the bed. ]

I... I think I did something really bad, by accident. Or at least... something really bad happened. And things are... hella bad, back home.

[tokencanadian]

'Hella' bad? [That's not a word she's heard before. She stays by the bedside, fingers lightly drumming against it.]

It sounds like it could have been a bad nightmare. You don't know if... anything in it actually happened, do you?

[helladoptera]

It... it means really bad, basically. Chloe says it a lot.

[ She sighs. ]

I don't think the dream like this last week was. But that was just... me and Chloe hanging out.

I... figured. [Just, that's not something she's sure she's heard before. Except maybe from Yang...]

Chloe. That's... [The girl listed in her likes] Someone you like, isn't it? A friend from home?

[helladoptera]

[ Max kind of... starts a little, at "someone you like," but then "friend" is mentioned and okay, that kind of like, r i g h t. ]

Yeah. My best friend.

[tokencanadian]

[...What. Is there something on her face?]

That's... strange then. [very strange, it makes her dream even stranger.] How bad was it? Whatever happened in the dream?

[helladoptera]

[ It's fiiiiiine everything's fine nothing is ruined. ]

My whole life is kind of strange, recently.

[ She swallows. ]

I think... a lot of things happened, and eventually using my powers somehow broke... time and space.

[tokencanadian]

Life can be strange, sometimes.

[One day you're hanging with a nerd on a roof, the next, you're in space prison.]

...Your powers? [uh] I'm sorry, but I thought you didn't have any powers.

[helladoptera]

You can say that again.

[ ... ]

Oh right, uh... turns out I can rewind time? But I only started to be able to do it like... right after where I thought I was when I got here.

[tokencanadian]

So, you just remembered that you can control time? That's...

[She pauses, thinking. Hard.]

That's amazing, honestly.

[helladoptera]

I... I'd like it better if it still worked here.

[ She reaches a hand out and focuses - maybe it'll work this time?

Nope, she just grabs her head as another one of those "that's as far as you can go" headaches hits without her traveling at all. ]

No one else has any kind of powers where I come from, though, and I have no idea why I do.

[tokencanadian]

[having only an outsiders perspective, all Pyrrha sees is Max raising a hand and suddenly getting a massive headache. So, concern intensifies.]

Careful, don't strain yourself.

[But wait.] No one? At all?

[helladoptera]

Every time I try to do it, I just get the "you tried to go too far back" headaches.

[ She shakes her head. ]

Not that I've ever heard of, anyway. We have all kinds of stories about... superheroes, or wizards, or... alchemists, or whatever, but no one can actually do those things.

[tokencanadian]

That's definitely strange... [A world where no one has powers? They would be torn apart in minutes by the Grimm.]

Well, I guess that might be a good thing. The ability to control time is one that definitely needs to be handled responsibly.

[helladoptera]

Yeah, I just wish... I just wish someone could tell me why I have it or what I'm supposed to do with it.

[tokencanadian]

[She ponders that.]

Maybe... it's up to you to figure out what you're supposed to do with it. Like I said, something like this should be handled responsibly... but, it does ultimately fall to you to make choices about it.

[helladoptera]

Yeah, well... even when it helps people I'm never sure I'm making the right choice. It's a way tricky power.

[tokencanadian]

I'm sure you're doing the best you can with it.

[Cause Max seems like a perfectly fine person.]
