week 4
[Four weeks in the Starfield Penitentiary and seven people have lost their lives to Blaze Dudely's cruel game. At some point the robots cleaned up the mess left behind and by Sunday the involved rooms (including the fridge) are all clean and free of blood. In fact there's no sign left of any of the deaths that have happened on the ship so far by at least the next day. The only physical signs that people are gone are the empty beds.
On Sunday morning, you may find that you're recovering a a few other things as well - both strange dreams and some new items.
In addition, there's a new set of doors at the end of the corridor, in the space between the infirmary and the exercise yard. Looks like you've got a new wing to explore.]

now under the right top level; some spoilers for book 4
he'd (almost) sacrificed himself for korra.
he dreams of taking spirit vines, he dreams of explosions and promising bolin that he'd make it out okay. and then he remembers that he'd been willing to risk it all, to put his life on the line for korra. for republic city. and if it weren't for his brother? he'd be dead.
but he made it out in one piece with only a wound on his arm.
so...that explains the bandages.
mako starts the week in the infirmary. this time, he seems set on removing those bandages from his arm. he wants to see the scar for himself. but is it really wise to be removing it? who knows. as long as nobody's there to stop him, he's going to keep on going.
then, mako can be found running laps in the exercise yard. except this time, he looks upset about something. mako has a case of resting bitch face but there is a notable difference between that and when he's actually bothered. come bother him. ]

More trouble, is it?

Bad dream.

They seem to be going around.

[It's the least she can do??] I cannot stop you, after all.

[ meaning he won't vent about it.
...much. ]
I just...dreamt that I almost died. That's...probably the most stressful part of it all.

[She's a warrior. She's had many close calls, after all.]

[ he's not going to go into detail--gotta rank up a little more for that to happen, apollo! ]

Hell, he's just about frustrated enough that he mislands a step, not-quite stumbling in to Mako's path. Brace for impact?]

and then there's a giant man on top of him.
he lands on the ground with an "oof". ]
Ow....
infirmary
But apparently he's not the first one there today. As he watches Mako reach for the end of the bandage on his arm, Rideaux speaks up from behind him. ]
Have you changed that dressing at all since you've been here?
no subject
he nods, working on unraveling the bandage. ]
Twice.
[ he unravels it enough to unveil a rather large lightning scar that runs up his hand to his elbow. ]
But that's all.
[ he...probably did it wrong ]
no subject
[ he tilts his head as he takes a look. it can hardly be a fresh wound, given how long they've been here by now. ]
Honestly, this doesn't even need dressing at this point. Are you just trying to keep it out of sight, or have you decided to incorporate bandages as a permanent part of your personal style?
no subject
It still--kind of stings. And feeling in my fingers is only just starting to come back. Should I just...get rid of it anyway?
no subject
I can tell you a bandage isn't going to help with decreasing numbness. Do you mean you've been experiencing it the entire time you've been here, though?
[ was there really that much nerve damage? ]
no subject
Yeah, for the most part. Guess I never really realized it since I couldn't move my hand around.
[ idk how this works i'm just rollin with it RIP ]
no subject
How did you get this, anyway?
no subject
I zapped some spirit vines with electricity and got shocked back in retaliation.
[ ...that probably makes no sense out of context. but that's your answer rideaux ]

Infirmary
Once Mako makes an entrance, though, there's just that slight turn of her head.]
no subject
[ wasn't expecting to see her in here! ]
You alright?
no subject
[She lifts her legs onto one of the infirmary beds, a notably uncomfortable look on her face as she slips her hand into a crease just below her knee.]
I think I might just need to rest a bit.
no subject
[ he just needs to ask okay ]
no subject
I'm getting kind of worried.
