[It's your second Friday in Starfield Penitentiary, and four people are already dead. But at least there's been no murder among your own number yet; you've been relatively united against the recent pirate threat.

This morning, though, it looks like there's some blood out in the main foyer area. Investigate?]

Oda's up bright and early, and he immediately spots the blood when he leaves his cell. Does it seem to lead anywhere?]

["relatively united" barring a few unforeseen... accidents. But Pyrrha was certain that there would be no murder, least of all for the amusement of their new captor. That's why, when she got up this morning, she hadn't expected anything to be out of the ordinary.

So of course, she spots the blood on the floor as she heads into the foyer. It immediately doesn't sit well with her, and she heads out further to investigate.]

[Blood splatters that are notable are usually never a good thing. So...

Will's just going to look at that there blood. And he's going to start looking for any more. Is there anymore nearby?

[Soma is in full grim mode before he even sees the blood. After Hamilton's death he silently went back to his cell and stayed there all night. Now, venturing out to make breakfast, he sees the blood in the foyer.

He stops, covers his face with his hands for a moment, and then starts to follow the trail with a leaden weight in his stomach.]

She stops short, eyes widening as she sees the blood. Is there any pattern to it? ]

Welllllll, would ya look at that. The Champion Swordsman's all washed up. [Blaze laughs, a rough rasping sound.] There'll be a trial soon. You lot had best get to investigatin'.

It doesn't take her long to reach the laundry, given she started sprinting the minute the announcement popped up. But she'll pass over the body for now in favour of starting with the obvious. What's crunching underfoot? ]

[First thing's first, Will's going to move to a corner away from the others and really concentrate. There's a lot of people here, and he doesn't know if it'll work but... he's closing his eyes. Is there anything at all he can read via his empathy from the room?]

[John walks over to Albel's body, first looking to see if his eyes are open or closed. He'll close them if they're still open. And while he's at it, he'll see where exactly all that blood is coming from.]

...Of course he starts with the library. No one should be surprised.

[There's a knock on the door. Even if Akande isn't able to answer the door, Cheryl's hoping someone's there who is.

She's carrying some towels, a bag of ice, and a glass of water that has a few slices of space citrus suspended in it. ]

[Someone is also notably missing from the action but... she has a reason too. She's hovering just far enough away from the action to avoid any potential blood sightings. But god if she doesn't look nervous.

It's starting again.]

It just keeps happening...

[She wants to curl up and ignore it all but she knows... come tomorrow she'll have to debate with everyone to find the guilty party.

And then they'll die too. So many bodies already...]
