[It's your second Friday in Starfield Penitentiary, and four people are already dead. But at least there's been no murder among your own number yet; you've been relatively united against the recent pirate threat.

This morning, though, it looks like there's some blood out in the main foyer area. Investigate?]

[ Is it in any particular location, or just scattered around the room? ]

[It is primarily around the body.]

[ Well, that's easier to clean up, at least. Does it look like it's from the washing machines at all, specifically the one poor Albel was slumped in front of? ]

[Nope, those don't have any glass in them! The little window is some kind of plastic.]

[ Makes sense. The intention was to avoid injuries when this was a prison, after all. ]

Hm...

[ Which means we're looking for where the glass came from, then. What do the glass fragments look like - any large chunks that might indicate their original shape, at all? ]

[A few of them are curved.

As long as you're by the washing machine, though, that door sure looks broken. Not in a broken glass sense; it doesn't seem to want to close right any longer.]

[ For starters, Erika's going to be putting one of those curved pieces aside - she doesn't have anything to carry things in yet, so it's just... slightly out of the way to pick up later, but it's an attempt all the same.

Then, with 'evidence' safely secured, we're going to be opening the door of the washer - anything inside? ]

[The door is dented along its edges. You're not gonna want to wash anything in this again.

There is a Champion's unitard inside. It doesn't appear to have actually been washed.]

[ Welp. Good thing the rest of the room still works, then.

Regarding the door for now. Is there any indication of it being forced shut, or jammed closed, prior to it's current state? Like someone tried to close it with something in the way. ]

[It sure does look like that. There may also be some blood smears on the inside of the door.]

[ Boy, it sure does look like someone got ahead of themselves with the washing, there. Y'all are just excessive.

But, clues are clues. If there's nothing else notable about the door, is there anything hidden in the unitard? ]

[ Oh well. So glass, check. Door, check. Possible ideas forming, check.

Anything else that sticks out around the washing machine, or is it all up to the body crew now? ]

[It's a narrow, thin piece of blue fabric! It looks like it's been torn at one end.]

[ Well, shit.

This is convenient, at least - the fabric can double as a buffer for picking that glass chunk up. Speaking of, is that glass clear, or a specific colour? For the audience's sake, y'all know how it is. Gotta get that fanart mileage somehow.

But she is definitely taking note of the fabric while she pockets it (without pockets). Hooboy. ]
