[With the sudden pirate takeover and the sudden, tragic deaths of the crew, the second week of the Starfield Penitentiary rehabilitation project is off to a rough start. After Price's call for parlay with the pirate captain, he was not seen for the remainder of Saturday but around 10 pm it is his calm but tense voice that makes the time announcement.

Yeah. We have a lot of school exams to deal with, after all, amongst other things.

[He nods, looking pleased.] It's good to keep with your studies.

Yeah. I got to get good grades if I want to become a hero, after all.

[A raised eyebrow] Is your school alike to Pyrrha's, then? One where the skills of fighting are taught?

No, it's not. My school doesn't teach fighting -- at least, not unless it's a club, since we do have martial arts, kendo and archery. But that isn't the primary focus.

Which part of your schooling is preparing you for heroism, then? [He sounds genuinely curious about this.]

[peopledieifkilled]

Well, it's not that the schooling specifically prepares me for it, but rather what I learn will help me... besides, Fuji-nee would get angry if I didn't go to school. Like history, for example can help teach the mistakes that people made so we don't have to repeat them, I guess.

[So his definition of "hero" is quite the humble one, it seems. Still, that makes John smile.] This "Fuji-nee" seems a good friend.

She's my guardian. But yeah, you're right... she's a good friend.

[He notices the use of "guardian," and quickly realizes what that implies about his parents. Still, it seems Shirou has someone close to him who cares deeply for him, so he's not too concerned.]

I see we'll have to get back before she sees air sign you're gone.
