week 2
[With the sudden pirate takeover and the sudden, tragic deaths of the crew, the second week of the Starfield Penitentiary rehabilitation project is off to a rough start. After Price's call for parlay with the pirate captain, he was not seen for the remainder of Saturday but around 10 pm it is his calm but tense voice that makes the time announcement.
Buckle in, Champions, things are about to get bumpy.]
Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday
[ooc: Don't forget to to turn in your AC for week 1 and submit your threads for the Benefactors!]

H-How was I supposed to know you were going to freak out?!
[she didn't mean to startle him at least.]
no subject
You don't just--you don't just do that!
[ TOUKO... well. after he calms down, he sighs, turns around to face her. ]
Anyway...did you need something?
no subject
[you know. like that guy.]
I spend most of my time here. I just wanted to see what you were so focused on.
no subject
[ which. tends to startle most people. ]
I'm just...writing notes, I guess. It's nothing really important.
[ ... ]
I'm sorry, by the way, to hear about that game you were in before.
no subject
[whatever though. it's fine.]
You're still thinking about how to get out of here.
[honestly, she's glad. people who didn't focus on... everything else... were more likely to hold it together.]
...I don't know why it's happening again but... I want to stop this-- whoever's responsible, they need to be s-stopped.
no subject
[ of course he's still thinking about it. ]
Nobody needs to die. It's just-- [ an aggravated sigh ] how we stop them that's bugging me. We don't have enough information nor do we have any reliable ways to get it. They...really did a good job in keeping us out of the loop, that's for sure.
no subject
But I don't have that kind of hope. Even so... after each execution we were allowed to see more and more of Hope's Peak. That might be true here. If people die... that might be the one good thing to come out of it. If we're given more access w-we might be able to find a way out.

[ he hates this. he truly does. nobody on this ship, regardless of what they've done, deserves this kind of treatment except for the mastermind himself. he feels sick to his stomach. ]
...Alright. Touko, right? I'm gonna need you to tell me more about your experiences in this game of yours. Namely how you were all able to find a way out.
no subject
[surprise it's not as cool knowing after the fact.]
A-Alright. You can ask me whatever you want. Still... the Mastermind we had to defeat was horrid but she was just a teenage girl. This might be a lot more difficult. But I'll do wh-what I can to help.
no subject
[ mover=movie. he's thinking this is some sort of play, because television doesn't exist where he's from. ]
Wait--and your mastermind was a teenager?! [ what the actual heck, touko ] How were you able to defeat her?
no subject
That was what Junko Enoshima wanted. However... when she couldn't get despair out of us-- when the six of us told her that we wouldn't give in... she... executed herself.

I don't have a clue what this is about. As a group there's hardly anything that connects us. We're not from the same places... the only thing of note are these titles we've been given-- which seems to imitate Hope's Peak.
no subject
Touko, do you think there's a connection between the game you were in and this one?
no subject
...I can't rule it out. But without my memories i-it would be hard to piece it together.
[what the hell happened when she left Hope's Peak...?]
no subject
[ SORRY he's going to bring it up again. ]
It'll be something to keep in mind. And as much as I'd like to make a better correlation between how you took down your mastermind and Blaze, I don't think it's gonna be that simple.
no subject
[it's the only thing that's more of a mouthful than that thing's name.]
The best thing to take from it I suppose is that we're going to have to get to know him, m-much as we dislike it. The more we know about him the b-better prepared we'll be...
no subject
[ what the fuck were they thinking when they made that one--
the more we know about him.
that gives mako an idea. ]
...Touko? I think you may be onto something. If we can get to know both Blaze and The Counselor, maybe we'll be able to figure out their motives. And...maybe it'll bring us closer to stopping them.
no subject
[god fuck if she doesn't feel dumber just saying that name]
Something related to Hope's Peak showed up here and I wanted to ask him about it. So I guess now's as good a time as any...
no subject
[ he is so happy he doesn't need to say that name it's so???
...but before their conversation can end, mako has to say one thing: ]
I appreciate it. All of this.
no subject
[he has one of those. you know. just a suggestion.]
It's far more tolerable than Blaze Dudely.
[G U H.]
no subject
[ why he's called a doctor, mako has no idea, but if that's what he wants then fine. mako will roll with it. ]
Blaze Dudely...what kind of name is that?
no subject
[it's such a nice name compared to--]
Ugh. Who knows. He probably changed his name. It sounds like something a cocky space pirate would do.
