[With the sudden pirate takeover and the sudden, tragic deaths of the crew, the second week of the Starfield Penitentiary rehabilitation project is off to a rough start. After Price's call for parlay with the pirate captain, he was not seen for the remainder of Saturday but around 10 pm it is his calm but tense voice that makes the time announcement.

Buckle in, Champions, things are about to get bumpy.]

Time? Sir, I never have enough! But keeping up with this rhythm isn't all that tough.

If your rhymes are up to snuff, it's only rough if you lose touch. You find the beat and pull it back if it gets too much.

[And then, as if forced, he adds--]

But I get it. That's weird for the rest of you. Talk freely anyway, I'm not testing-.. you.

[Well, he tried not to rhyme.]

[ Aw man, he can't compete. Noctis laughs and raises his hands. ]

No wonder you're the Champion Wordsmith. You got me beat there ten times over.

[ He pours a cup for Alex and slides it over. ]

Where I'm from words are the only way to closure; there's no money or power for a loner. You've got to work your way up for any purpose to espouse, and when I was at rock bottom? I wrote my way out.

[He only takes a sip of the tea he's passed when he's done talking. For all he speaks like an adult, his body language and composure tends to give a glimpse into the fact he's still 19; he can't seem to stop fidgeting in place.]
