week 2
[With the sudden pirate takeover and the sudden, tragic deaths of the crew, the second week of the Starfield Penitentiary rehabilitation project is off to a rough start. After Price's call for parlay with the pirate captain, he was not seen for the remainder of Saturday but around 10 pm it is his calm but tense voice that makes the time announcement.
Buckle in, Champions, things are about to get bumpy.]
Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday
[ooc: Don't forget to to turn in your AC for week 1 and submit your threads for the Benefactors!]

[That's what you get for living in a bar though.]
Mm, she keeps me out of trouble, more often than not. Wouldn't be here without her. Metaphorically, that is.
[He hopes.]

[ Shrug. ]
Seems like you're the kind of guy who needs someone like that. You let her know how much you appreciate her?
no subject
Do I get to hear about this fiancee, then?
no subject
[ There's a small smile, though. ]

[Varric leaned back in his chair, hands folded over his chest. He's ready to get learned, Noct.]
no subject
[ Man, where does he start? ]
Luna's... been my friend since we were kids. She was a princess until Niflheim invaded Tenebrae. [ He says that part pretty sourly. ] She's an Oracle, and she travels around healing people who are hurt or sick.
[ It's more complicated than that, but whatever. ]
She's kind, and pretty much everyone loves her. Honestly, the world would be way worse off without her.
[ He pauses. ]
Our marriage is arranged, but... that's alright with me.

There was mnore he could comment on, but for the time being, it seemed better to focus on the topic at hand. He did make a mental note to ask about Niflheim and Tenebrae later, though.]
She sounds like a good woman. And hell, you seem like a good man. Must be a good match then, right?
[Being in an arranged marriage sounded just a little antiquated, even from his medieval standpoint, but he wouldn't question it if Noctis seemed happy.]
She feels the same about you, right?
no subject
[ Geez, he's getting embarrassed. Noctis lifts a shoulder in a shrug. ]
I'd like to hope she does, yeah. She didn't complain about the marriage, far as I heard.

[To be honest, Varric wasn't entirely convinced of his words, but he didn't want to discourage Noctis, either. He seemed happy enough with the set up, and confident enough in their bond. The dwarf's own thoughts didn't matter.]
I'm sure she'll be happy to see you again, once you're out of here.
no subject
More likely she'll just give me a lecture or something for disappearing like that. Kind of expecting the guys to do that, too.
[ Though in Gladio's case, it'd be an ass-kicking. Ignis'd probably force him to eat vegetables for a month. And Prompto... would probably take a bunch of humiliating pictures of him.
He misses his friends. ]
no subject
[Varric's were likely pretend he hadn't been missing at all. They'd poke fun at him, remarking that they should have known he was missing, because things were quiet. The thought alone brought a smile to his lips.]
And a good fiancee. Do your friends like her?
no subject
[ Prompto had helped out Pryna, but... ]
But from what they know, yeah.
[ It's pretty hard to dislike Luna, anyway. ]
no subject
Don't have to be a romance writer to figure that one out.
[Varric held his hand up to muffle his chuckles.]
I'd like to meet her, if we ever get out of here. Figure out if you're telling the truth about her and all that.
no subject
Yeah. Got a feeling you'd really like her. And she probably has a ton of stories any writer'd love to hear.
