[With the sudden pirate takeover and the sudden, tragic deaths of the crew, the second week of the Starfield Penitentiary rehabilitation project is off to a rough start. After Price's call for parlay with the pirate captain, he was not seen for the remainder of Saturday but around 10 pm it is his calm but tense voice that makes the time announcement.

Before the war, I was a professional fighter. I still remember the crowds. [and boy, are these fond memories - that's an honest, warm smile that flickers on his face there for a few moments] But there was a point to that, a contest of strength and skill - we fought for an audience who could truly appreciate our might.

So fighting for amusement?...yes. But we were anything but puppets. [it wasn't 'professional' wrestling, for crying out loud] I cannot say I have not already considered how best to defeat all of those here...but I also cannot say I am particularly inclined to do so.

[roundabout way of stating the obvious. he's not gonna try and deceive Oda, and he figures that this is a way to gain a bit more of the man's regard. yes, he thinks he could kill just about any one of his fellow inmates.]

Did you choose to be a professional fighter? That's different from this situation. The audience here wouldn't be appreciating your strength - he's only appreciating how he can turn people against each other or drive them to desperation.

I don't expect to live that long - I can't see myself as an old man with wrinkles. But at the least, I would like for the people I know to know what happened to me.

The ones I am familiar with have no sense of taste. So while they could follow instructions, they certainly could not confirm their own quality.

I assume these ones are similar, until I am proven wrong.

That makes sense to me. They would probably be better at baking, that's more exact with measurements.

I don't think I'll be having any robot-made cookies anytime soon, but it's interesting to think about.
