[With the sudden pirate takeover and the sudden, tragic deaths of the crew, the second week of the Starfield Penitentiary rehabilitation project is off to a rough start. After Price's call for parlay with the pirate captain, he was not seen for the remainder of Saturday but around 10 pm it is his calm but tense voice that makes the time announcement.

Buckle in, Champions, things are about to get bumpy.]

MOTIVE: An Old Classic

[Around lunch time the speakers overhead crackle to life and Blaze Dudely’s voice echoes from overhead.]

Afternoon, Champions! Get to the main hall, I have something for you all to see.

[Once everyone has collected together, the door to Price’s office opens and Blaze Dudely steps out with a now-familiar step katunk. He’s grinning and, for some reason, wearing a pair of sunglasses. Indoors. In space. Because that’s normal.]

I’ve been thinking...you all’ve had a whole week to bond and make friends and crap. It’s going to be harder for some of you to turn on the others, even with one of you being a deceitful monster and killing being your only means of escape. [He holds up a tablet, Price’s tablet, and taps a button with his flesh hand. A cluster of several hologram planets erupt from the screen. Another button is pressed and the holograms all zoom in on different locations, locations the champions will find familiar. Their hometowns, important bases, places where people they love currently reside. There are 25 in all, one for each Champion.]

Home sweet home. [He lowers his sunglasses down the bridge of his nose to watch their reactions, his robotic eye glowing dimly.] If one of you doesn’t kill another Champion by the end of the week, I’ll send my crew to each and every one of these places and make sure they’re thoroughly destroyed.

[Akande seems to react to what appears to be a tall office building. He arches his brow in recognition, lips pressing together in a slight frown. And then?

Then he makes a sound not unlike a 'hnh'; it's not a laugh, but he doesn't really seem to care much, either. Without a word, he turns around walks away.]

[Oda's gaze fixes on one hologram in particular - the outside of a Western restaurant. 'Freedom's' is what the sign says. Oda can almost smell the scent of curry wafting out from inside.

His kids are staying in the room above this very restaurant.

Oda grits his teeth.]

[That's his entire response.]

[Pyrrha wasn't sure what she was going to expect from this meeting, but it appears that the motive does have an effect on her. A rather vivid one.

The holograms show what appears to be a huge building, almost castle-like in nature. Except, it's not in pristine shape. To Pyrrha's apparently horror, it's in ruins,swarmed by numerous black creatures.

There isn't an outward reaction to it, she's been rendered speechless, but her expression should be enough.]

[Fukawa mumbles, still a little torn. But after a moment she sighs.]

This information doesn't get shared with anyone, got it? If you want me to protect you then d-don't do anything stupid.

[She wants him to promise it-- not that she trusts him entirely but. He needs to understand that it's important if he wants her as an ally.]

[ Max's attention snaps to literally anywhere else in the room as soon as she sees the rooftops of Arcadia Bay there. She only sees it for a fraction of a second, so whatever shape the town might already be in she doesn't know, but. Some Champion she is already, huh? ]

[ She wishes she could think this is a bluff. ]

[ Shirou is angry, furious even. Because seeing Fuyuki in flames again even makes things worse for him. The horror and war flashbacks aren't helping at all whatsoever. And it doesn't help that Blaze Dudely is right there.

Guess who hasn't looked at the rules since the change and has one arm ready to go because nobody is going to stop him this time. Not this time, when he's actually right there because.

That was the last straw. He'll be going for it. HE GONNA PUNCH THIS FUCKER RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW with an angry snarl ]

[ Noctis doesn't say anything. But his expression is stony as he looks upon the image of Insomnia. It's cast in the golden light of the sun, but many of the buildings are destroyed and reduced to rubble.

He turns and walks out of the room. ]

Well, I'm guessing that might end up happening if someone gets away with murder. Everyone else dies.
