Week 1

[After the initial introduction of the Overseers on Sunday, the Champions were left to their own devices in investigating the part of the ship they have access to to their hearts' content. However, the doors that Jamie and Bolton came through are locked tight and cannot be unlocked via PIP.

On Monday morning, the same voice that awakened them the previous morning chirps at them again from their PIPs at 7 am on the dot. There's also a pop-up message waiting for them: a notice announcing "office hours" for Bolton in the library and Jamie in the art room every day from here on out.

Enjoy your week, Champions.]

There are always those who will choose convenience over stealth. [His tone is quite disapproving.]

Indeed. Still, there is fiction in the library, after all, which is merely for entertainment. I do not doubt that there will be books about all sorts of subjects that are not applicable here.

There should be other areas that open up to us as time passes, or as the Overseers will it. A library is fine, but for this many people, more is needed. Art, fine; cards, okay. But this is still restrictive.

Indeed it is. [A pause] I do hope they have plants, of some sort. I have been separated from nature for too long.

A greenhouse or an arboretum would be nice. Especially if they make us cooked food, some of the ingredients might even be fresh as far as fruits and vegetables go. The water requirements might be a pain, but if they can recycle water as well as they recycle air...

[He hops back down to the lower drawers and cupboards. Among the items is an honest to god potato masher. He has no idea what the fuck a potato masher looks like, so it looks like a weird torture device tbh.] ...Some of these items just seem unnecessary.

Ah, yes. I suppose that an arboretum would most likely have ingredients of some sort. Then this place could be put to proper use.

[He's just going to...stare at that as well.] What is even the purpose of that?

It might not, but a long-term space station without one? No, there must be something similar to that somewhere here. It would even help with oxygen production, on a small scale.

[He'll just...make a quick sketch of it. 1x[this thing]. Sure.] I honestly don't even know. Maybe this is why a cookbook might be nice.

Plants do do that, don't they? It would provide a good balance, and they could easily filter the air in some way.

We can search for one when we organize the library, then.
