Week 1

[After the initial introduction of the Overseers on Sunday, the Champions were left to their own devices in investigating the part of the ship they have access to to their hearts' content. However, the doors that Jamie and Bolton came through are locked tight and cannot be unlocked via PIP.

On Monday morning, the same voice that awakened them the previous morning chirps at them again from their PIPs at 7 am on the dot. There's also a pop-up message waiting for them: a notice announcing "office hours" for Bolton in the library and Jamie in the art room every day from here on out.

Enjoy your week, Champions.]

We should definitely remember not to take anything they say at face value, and to always be open to finding contradictions. Take advantage of office hours anyway; they might have something different to say when they're not around each other.

[He lowers his voice, unsure if the Overseers could also be listening in, not that it makes much difference.] If we can try and pit them against each other, we might make an opportunity for ourselves.

[He locks eyes with Shadow and nods- not saying anything for fear his louder voice would carry more]

I will admit that it seems odd they hold office hours at all. It seems like such a risk for them. I can't say what abilities they may have, but one size alone many of us could attack them easily enough.

I...hn. [He frowns, consulting his notes but not reading them.] There's some interesting phrasing in rule 6, I think. That violence towards Overseers is "highly discouraged" with variable results. Everything else involving punishment in the rules is very straightforward and clear cut. Do not do A or else B will happen. Rule 6 is a little softer.

But "appropriate retaliation" has me worried. For an example: if I were to break Bolton's arm. Barring whatever other official punishment might come, wouldn't an appropriate retaliation be the breaking of my own arm? I don't know how they would do that; it's just a theory based on reading into it.
