Week 1

[After the initial introduction of the Overseers on Sunday, the Champions were left to their own devices in investigating the part of the ship they have access to to their hearts' content. However, the doors that Jamie and Bolton came through are locked tight and cannot be unlocked via PIP.

On Monday morning, the same voice that awakened them the previous morning chirps at them again from their PIPs at 7 am on the dot. There's also a pop-up message waiting for them: a notice announcing "office hours" for Bolton in the library and Jamie in the art room every day from here on out.

Thomasin-chan can sew, and she said it's important to her to always be working and helping people. Maybe she'd help!

She's really good with her hands, too. I bet she'd be great at it.

They must have sewn by hand all the time back then. I can't imagine how long it would take.

They do it like that in Etria, too. It takes a really long time, and it's hard. I have trouble just patching things.

Maybe if we do well enough and don't die, they'll give us a sewing machine next!

...I don't think we can count on that, though. It's an awfully specific thing to expect.

At the same time, they're watching us with the cameras, so why not?

[She turns to the first camera she can find.]

Hey! If we're still alive tomorrow, can we get a sewing machine? [Hm...] And some ingredients for food?

And if you're not going to let us out, could you at least give us something better at mealtime? Oh, and don't give Xander-san octopus, he hates that!

I don't like it either! How about some fruit? Or real ice cream that isn't freeze-dried?

You don't like octopus? How come?

I just don't like it.

[Ricky have you ever even had it?]

Most people like it deep-fried, but I guess raw is a little weird and rubbery if you're not used to it.

You eat it raw?

Well, there are some sushi recipes that call for it, right? And I think you can eat it live, but I haven't tried.

Live? Uuh.

[Now not even the ice cream she mentioned earlier sounds good. Ricky's appetite is dead.]

It does sound a little weird, doesn't -- are you okay?
