[Just like the previous week the status quo is restored with frighteningly quick efficiency. PAL still makes the morning and night time announcements through the PIP on each Champion's arm, and still the Champion unitards are freshly laundered and re-hung each morning in their closets. Even the glass roses Choromatsu and Takumi broke after the trial in their fit of anger have been replaced with fresh ones. All signs that there was anything amiss this weekend are completely gone.

There's a new floor to explore, their "reward" for a job well done.]

[ The closer he gets, the more it becomes clear that Choromatsu is pretty freaked out about something. Maybe it has to do with the ice forming on the table underneath his hands. ]

[After the bar and the demon attacking him, Takumi knows what this is, and his voice is calm but firm]

It's okay, PAL did something last night- I got Mai's powers... and it looks like you have Nari's.

[he had been down her slide after all. He reaches Choro, and with no fear kneels down next to him and grips his shoulder. He's so cold...]

Deep breaths, okay?

[ Having an explanation... well, it helps, as does having someone there trying to help him. This isn't AS much of a scary, sudden, unexplainable thing now

The area around him still stays a little chilly but it's definitely not as bad as before. ]

[ Choromatsu was about to say it right then... but then he spots the cameras and realizes he should probably make sure no one else can hear this. So with a red face he leans in and whispers to Takumi ] I had a bit of morning wood, so I took care of it.

But I just kept getting hotter-- more than usual anyway. Really, really hot. I didn't think anything of it until suddenly the pillow just...

[ Makes a hand motion like something blowing up to illustrate the spontaneous combustion. Then he's raising his voice again ]
