week 4

[Just like the previous week the status quo is restored with frighteningly quick efficiency. PAL still makes the morning and night time announcements through the PIP on each Champion's arm, and still the Champion unitards are freshly laundered and re-hung each morning in their closets. Even the glass roses Choromatsu and Takumi broke after the trial in their fit of anger have been replaced with fresh ones. All signs that there was anything amiss this weekend are completely gone.

There's a new floor to explore, their "reward" for a job well done.]

Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday

[ooc: Don't forget to to turn in your AC for week 3, submit your memory regains and put in your threads for the Benefactors!]

Yeah, human bodies don't generally do the rapid change much past puberty. And teenage girls don't usually shoot up to be eight feet tall. ...It's kind of cute, though, seeing how Rii-san she still is in that shape.

[All that cute, feminine body language in toku monster form? Adorbs.]

How's being a ghost? As freaky as it looks?

Hm. I have seen humans transform before, but this is still different. [This wasn't really the same as a Kamen Rider, like. At all.] And of course. She is still herself, even if her appearance changes. It's entirely physical, not mental, after all.

[He pauses to consider the question for a moment.]

It's... odd. It feels wrong, being outside myself. I'm not sure how to describe the feeling of not being physical...

I'd imagine it's not much of a feeling at all. More the opposite of a feeling--since without a body, there's nothing to feel sensation with. Right?

[Nerd mode, activate.]

But you're still connected to your mind, so I guess it has to find some way to process what it is you're experiencing... huh.

A lack of feeling is close to it, but not entirely. Though it may very well be entirely in my mind, not an actual, proper sensation. Or perhaps when I am outside my body, the two are one and the same.

[Physical, mental, what's the difference when you don't have a body?]

Perhaps if I properly understood the nature of what is even happening, I could be more certain...

Well, even outside your body, you still seem to exist in and interact with the physical plane. I mean, otherwise, I wouldn't be able to hear or see you. It's still interesting, though...

You could almost take it for proof none of our consciousnesses actually reside within our bodies.
