[Just like the previous week the status quo is restored with frighteningly quick efficiency. PAL still makes the morning and night time announcements through the PIP on each Champion's arm, and still the Champion unitards are freshly laundered and re-hung each morning in their closets. Even the glass roses Choromatsu and Takumi broke after the trial in their fit of anger have been replaced with fresh ones. All signs that there was anything amiss this weekend are completely gone.

There's a new floor to explore, their "reward" for a job well done.]

[Queenie spends much of Monday in the garden sitting on one of the benches with a pillow from the rest area in her lap and... threads? She has actually mutilated some of the replacement needles from the tattoo parlor into straight pins and seems to have made makeshift bobbins out of q-tips. Where she got the thread is anyone's guess but she's actually making lace.

Of course she spends much of the late afternoon in the kitchen setting up for tonight's date night.

Once date night is well underway and she is no longer needed she has finally finally found a power that can get her into a swimsuit. She's going to spend a good long while in the hot tub tonight looking a little less chipper than usual.]

...Queenie?

[Junpei's recovered enough from his own Sunday to notice a certain lack of the joie de vivre he associates with Queenie. He lingers in the entrance to the kitchen a moment, then comes in to lean against a counter out of her way and observe.]

[Sundays are rough... she hadn't realized that last week, not really. Her memories had been so mundane and she'd woken up warm and safe with Nishitani. It kind of dimmed the impact. Now, still hearing the echoes of her sister's terror, she better understood what the others had already known.

Still she's not as upset as she could be and that's really not at all what has her down. She's just... a little bit grumpy, that's all.]

Oh. I dunno, just. Haven't seen you much since Friday.

[He's spent most of his weekend in his room. With Yuuri. And he doesn't regret it, but it's left him feeling a little out of the loop with everyone else.

Queenie'd been such a wreck at the trial.]

Mostly just had to sleep off how much trying to pull off that spell drained me. And I was workin' on a project.

[He looks at all the food she's making, then rubs the back of his head.]

Uh... I wanted to give you something. To thank you for everything you've been doing, and, ah. I don't know. I just want you to have it. It suits you most, I think.

[She smiles at him, clearly touched.]

[He reaches into his pocket and takes out a four-leaf clover bookmark.]

But maybe it'll bring you better luck than me.

[She gasps, on hand coming up to cover her mouth, brows furrowing and looking like she might just cry.]

But- [She shakes her head, dismissing the protest. He's clearly thought about this a fair bit.]

Not just luck, right? Hope, love... faith? and luck.

[And then she just tilts her head, adorably confused. Machines are, so far as she knows, not that skilled yet.]

How else would ya make it?

I mean, I don't know, I didn't know how it was made in the first place. I assume programmed machines in factories can make it just fine.

[A pause, a giggle, and then she tucks her makeshift bobbins between her fingers to hold her place so she can lift a hand to crook a finger at him. Come here and let her give you some affections. A kiss would be nice but she'll settle for just being able to squeeze him.

Normal people are not as openly, casually affectionate as she is, she knows that. And she doesn't want to assume things like kisses are okay just because of last week.]

I s'pose 600 years in the future they can probably do whatever they please, huh?

[How about kisses and squeezes? Please give this man attention and affection. He is happy about all of this.]

Yeeeeah, pretty much. I mean, we've got machines that can think on the level of a person, like PAL, so.

Some things don't beat handmade, though. Like a homecooked meal.

[...well. Arianna was going to pouncetackle Queenie, but she's obviously working on something delicate, so instead she stops to watch.

From behind, without actually announcing her presence or anything. Looks like you've got a SPYING LACE DEER on your hands.]

[If she had her powers, if she still could read minds, she'd know in a heartbeat that she was being stalked by the most adorable purple deer to ever exist.

As it is, she does not. It will take her a good long while to notice, concentrating as she is. And maybe humming?]

[Arianna listens for a while as she watches, but eventually her curiosity gets the better of her.]

[Queenie jumps, gasping and nearly letting the whole project tumble out of her lap. Magic catches a couple of the bobbins that start to roll away from her and then she looks over her shoulder with a sheepish laugh, shaking her head.]

Arianna you scared me half to death.

'm making lace, sweetie.

I'm sorry! That was not my intention!

[She's looking back and forth between Queenie and scanning the ground in front of her for anything else that got dropped and in the process completely failing to recognize the answer to her question.]

[Thankfully since everything is interconnected in a giant crisscrossed mess of thread there's not really far for anything to go.]

What are you doin' sneakin up on people, then silly? [She clearly thinks Arianna is the cutest thing ever though.]

[Oh good it looks like she didn't ruin anything.]

I received this costume, and it simply seemed like the right thing to do.

[Queenie just looks her up and down, head tilted curiously.]

[She knows she's meant to be a deer but the poor city girl has no idea beyond that.]
