Week 2

[Other than the reappearance of the Overseer, there's no real change in the routine. PAL still makes the morning and night time announcements through the PIP on each Champion's arm, and still the Champion unitards are freshly laundered and re-hung each morning in their closets.

No other floors unlock, but Cece and Kip will still be appearing randomly to chit-chat.

All you know is... something has to change soon.]

Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday

[ooc: Don't forget to to turn in your AC for week 1 and submit your threads for the Benefactors!]

[Chaos and mass-destruction? That sounds about par for the course at least.]

I... can at least try. At the very least, I hope to help those here in whatever way I can. If not with my powers -- certainly not with my powers -- than in some way.

[Angel could only hope she had reached her lowest point, here or back home. Still, doubt clung to the back of her mind. There were too many questions, too many holes, for her to feel confident in that inkling of hope.]

I... hope you are right, Heart.

A very honorable goal. I think so long as you stay focused on that, you definitely will accomplish it. Though I wouldn't rule your powers out entirely yet...

[She's still young. There's still time to figure out how to control it properly.]

As do I. Considering the people we have here... I find it slightly easier to be optimistic.

[Something might happen, of course, but no one seemed all that bad so far.]

I have... had them more than a decade. I think if I were to learn control, it would have happened by now.

[Of course, she hadn't been able to learn control in her circumstances. Maybe now...? But she shook her head before she could finish the thought. Potential training wasn't worth the risk.]

I will hold out hope, then.
