[Other than the reappearance of the Overseer, there's no real change in the routine. PAL still makes the morning and night time announcements through the PIP on each Champion's arm, and still the Champion unitards are freshly laundered and re-hung each morning in their closets.

No other floors unlock, but Cece and Kip will still be appearing randomly to chit-chat.

All you know is... something has to change soon.]

... well, apart from the robot hand and the galaxy outside and...

[ She starts off with a playful tone, poking some lighthearted fun at him but as she takes in his expression she slowly trails off. And then she stands up and dusts her hands off on the front of her Champion's unitard. ]

... No. Nothing that didn't have... some sort of obvious explanation, anyway.

Why? Did something happen?

Everything is fine and under control, so there should be no need for alarm.

...But it is possible we encountered some manner of ghost last night.

[ you know ardyn, "there's no need for alarm" is like the #1 phrase to use to alarm someone. ]

A... ghost.

[ she squints at him for a second like she's trying to work out if he's fucking with her or not but then decides that... no it's Ardyn, if he was going to punk her like that then it would probably be more lowkey. ]

What do you mean a ghost? A spirit, o--or...

[ or an actual DEAD PERSON ]

Just a spirit of some kind--it looked like a distortion in the air. I've not been able to find it since we drove it off, but I wanted to be certain everyone was on their guard if it came back.

Did it attack you, then? If you had to drive it off...

[ it's bad enough that they're trapped in this place with a hostile A.I. but now there's apparently space ghosts running around too. Wonderful. ]
