Week 2
[Other than the reappearance of the Overseer, there's no real change in the routine. PAL still makes the morning and night time announcements through the PIP on each Champion's arm, and still the Champion unitards are freshly laundered and re-hung each morning in their closets.
No other floors unlock, but Cece and Kip will still be appearing randomly to chit-chat.
All you know is... something has to change soon.]
Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday
[ooc: Don't forget to to turn in your AC for week 1 and submit your threads for the Benefactors!]

[Woo! She gets to visit a dudes room and see how the other half lives. Hopefully not in a gross way. Please have a clean room.]

For a hot second there, I thought you were going to say as long as I don't make out with you. That'd be...awkward. Ha.
Anyway. Hopefully this bad boy's good. Because even if it's not, we're drinking it anyway. [He twists it open, gives it a sniff, and a light swig. He looks very thinky about it before handing it over.] That's...sweet. And different? Huh.

[She watches his reaction, taking the bottle and taking a swig to taste it. Then she takes another.] Hm. Not that bad. Thought it would be more turpentine tasting like some flavored vodkas can be.

So. [He sits himself on his bed.] Guess I promised to tell you about my dumbasses over a drink, huh? About the Blues and the Reds fighting each other in the middle of a box canyon in the middle of nowhere. Kinda...kinda think maybe there's a reason we were all put in the middle of nowhere, really.

She's going to make herself comfortable by snagging a chair and handing the bottle back to Church.] And what's that?

Me, I'm half-decent. But everyone else? Tucker's the chick-obsessed guy who just had an alien kid, and Caboose doesn't have more than two brain cells to rub together. That's Blue Team. The Red Team's got Sarge, who I'm pretty sure has been in the army since the civil war. Like, the American one. He's about as hare-brained and senile as someone that age. Simmons is a kiss-ass and a genius, but in a hella nerdy way. The kind you'd shove in a locker if you could. Grif is the laziest slob you'd ever meet. If napping and eating were Olympic sports, he'd gold them easier. Donut is the one who focuses more on lace curtains, and trashy reality shows, and wine and cheese hours, and insists that his pink armor is just 'lightish-red'. Lopez is a robot that can only speak Spanish. And nobody knows Spanish.
And then between us there's Doc, a pacifist medic who sucks at being a medic and is way too good at being a pacifist. Who also happens to be carrying an obnoxiously evil fuck of an AI in his head.

..... how the fuck did you guys not kill each other or blow up that place you're in already?

And believe me, we tried to kill each other. But uh, I guess we just mostly liked living and being lazy instead of fighting except when ordered to. Like a truce, except with shooting at each other. Maybe we just suck at being at war. More complicated, though, but it always is.

You know, I thought at first maybe you would have to be someone I would need to worry about killing anyone, but now? I think I feel safe knowing I'd probably be able to kill you easier than you vice versa.

Don't get me wrong; I'm a soldier. We might have been--we might be a bunch of jackasses in the middle of nowhere, but we all got training. Crazy wacky happenstance gets in the way of a lot of shit, and honestly? Much as I hate the Reds, they all right guys when it comes down to it.
...'course none of us can zap people from a distance, so. Yeah, here, you could probably kill me pretty easy.
