[Other than the reappearance of the Overseer, there's no real change in the routine. PAL still makes the morning and night time announcements through the PIP on each Champion's arm, and still the Champion unitards are freshly laundered and re-hung each morning in their closets.

No other floors unlock, but Cece and Kip will still be appearing randomly to chit-chat.

All you know is... something has to change soon.]

[Much to the disappointment of the assortment of hungover gents in the Rest Area Queenie opens the door, flicks on the lights, and strolls in at about 5:30 the next morning. She has a mug of coffee in one hand, a hair brush in the other, and she stops in the door and just stares at the glittery, disaster and all these half dressed fellas and...

Flicks the light off and sighs.

She comes back about half an hour later with a large pitcher and a stack of glasses. If anyone's awake she will offer some of her hangover remedy immediately and for the rest of you heathens the pitcher will remain on a platter by the door with the rest of the glasses. The note on the tray reads:]

One full glass each.
More in the fridge.
I'll clean up but next time share.

[Someone is awake. If awake means mumbling into his cat pillow and lightly kicking Finn in the side.]

[If he's not properly awake yet then she'll just weave her way over to him, brush some of his sticky hair out of his face, and kiss his temple. She doesn't have her powers, she knows it won't help, but she tries to push a sense of calm at him, to ease whatever he might be dreaming of. She'll help him with his hair later.]

Rest now, sweetheart. [Murmured in barely a whisper into his hair.]

[He murmurs, and settles, no longer abusing poor Finn and shifting towards the touch.

He mumbles something, but it's too slurred to really make out]

[And then there's Ardyn--wide awake, stone cold sober and just hanging around to make sure no one comes by and slaughters the lot of them.]

I don't need one, but the others will no doubt appreciate the gesture.

[She actually sounds... a little disappointed. How is she supposed to live vicariously through you boys if you're being a stick in the mud, Ardyn?]

We have a ghost?! [Ardyn you should know better. Now she's all excited.]

Oh that's great. Hmmm I wonder if they can he- what do you mean a fight?

Exactly as I said--we got into a fight with it. I've never heard of a ghost with claws, but things may have turned a bit troublesome.

Hmmm sounds more like a poltergeist than a ghost. I dunno about claws but they can make your lives pretty miserable if they want to. And they can interact with things, ghosts.... can't.
