Week 2
[Other than the reappearance of the Overseer, there's no real change in the routine. PAL still makes the morning and night time announcements through the PIP on each Champion's arm, and still the Champion unitards are freshly laundered and re-hung each morning in their closets.
No other floors unlock, but Cece and Kip will still be appearing randomly to chit-chat.
All you know is... something has to change soon.]
Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday
[ooc: Don't forget to to turn in your AC for week 1 and submit your threads for the Benefactors!]

First things first: Around lunchtime, he's in the dining room, manually blowing up an inflatable rubber pool. When that's set up on one of the small tables, he fills it with everything listed under JUNK and UNDERWEAR and hangs a folded paper note on the lip of the pool.]
Take what's yours or anything you want. First come, first served.
Available upon request/for trade:
- Snack cakes
- Hot chocolate
- Energy drink
- Athletic wrap
- Cloth bandages
- Candle that smells like grandma
T. Junpei
[For those interested in that sort of thing, Junpei's handwriting is on the smallish side, but surprisingly legible. There's something schoolboyish about it, really. Very proper printing.
Come the afternoon, he's got more notes, but these are going everywhere.]
Bring your booze, snacks, and any stupid crap you got today.
NO GIRLS ALLOWED.
[He leaves some in the dining room, the kitchen, the foyer... he'll hand one directly to any guy he sees, too, and makes sure one's right at the entrance to the rest area.]
dinning room
Your note, you'd be interested in haggling for the medical supplies?
[He says this but he keeps glancing at the cat pillow too]

[He sees those looks, Takumi. Are you man enough to ask for what you want?]
no subject
[He cups his chin in one hand, frowning.]
I don't have much to trade- I didn't get a lot.
[No way is he giving up his cannon OR book. And the antibiotic gel would be counter productive.]
But maybe we can work something out? Is there anything you're looking for?
no subject
[Junpei.]
no subject
No, but... I do know how to make kitchen wine.
[Aka prison hooch]
no subject
[Heh.]
I'll even throw the cat in for free. What do you say?

Are you actually going to share this time?
no subject
Yeah, Matsuno, I'm going to invite nine dudes, including a demon, a robot, and a yakuza, to a party and not share my hooch. That sounds like an awesome idea.
[...]
I don't like vodka as much. I'm hoping someone'll bring more of that whiskey.
no subject
Well, I didn't get any. Or anything good at all. Except drugs I guess.
[ And the... vibrating thing... ]
Is that fine? [ An honest question actually. ]
no subject
[Get crunk responsibly, children.]
no subject
[ He has a bunch of vices but thankfully drugs aren't one of them. ]
Maybe for the hangovers. I'm pretty sure they're painkillers. Either way, I don't need them.
no subject
[He's an underground detective, Choromatsu, what did you think he was going to think?]
You sure you don't want to keep some for yourself?

And realizes it had 8 "legs".
And she might actually tear up and squish it to her chest.]
This is the oddest lookin' Wampus but he's so cute...
no subject
Uh... you can have it, if you want. I've got my own little, ah. Friend. Back in my room.
[Junpei hovers awkwardly for a second before he lowers his voice and asks:]
...Are you okay?
no subject
She rubs at her eyes and nods, feeling ridiculous but she can't help it.]
Just homesick, 's all
no subject
[Far be it from Junpei to play the gentleman, but he pulls a chair out from the little table and offers it to her.]
It's okay. Uh, I'm sure we all are. Some more than others, maybe.
[Junpei hasn't seen his own home in... who knows how long, now?]
Do you... want to talk about it?
no subject
I'm sorry, sweetie. [She's supposed to be cheering people up, not letting herself wallow like this.]
Just can't help thinkin how much better Tina'd be at all this mess. You'd like her. She's an auror- a detective. Like you... only magical.
no subject
[But he doesn't say it like a challenge, for once. He's still, well, trying to be kind. He pulls a chair up for himself as well, slouching forward and linking his hands together.]
And for what it's worth, it's not like I've been all that useful as a detective here, either. Nobody is. Nobody's expected to be; we're all in the same boat, as far as that goes.

I don't have anything anyone would want, but "grandma"?
no subject
Look, that's what it smells like. It just... it has that grandma smell.
no subject
no subject
What does a Golden Girls grandma even smell like?
no subject
Perfume and, like, they've been going at the scotch all day.
no subject
Uh, more like the first kind, except more ricey and cottony.
[So, more like one might imagine Junpei's grandmother might smell like, if we had any idea what any of his family was remotely like at all.]
