[Other than the reappearance of the Overseer, there's no real change in the routine. PAL still makes the morning and night time announcements through the PIP on each Champion's arm, and still the Champion unitards are freshly laundered and re-hung each morning in their closets.

No other floors unlock, but Cece and Kip will still be appearing randomly to chit-chat.

Yes, we "hafta". Protecting idiots from murder also includes those idiots, unfortunately, much as I'd LOVE to let Kip die just for the sacrilegious act of being a complete and total moron in my vicinity and murdering perfectly good coffee.

Cece may not deserve it, though. And from the sound of things, they were possibly brought on without knowing the circumstances. Kind of idiots if they thought that rule was just an artifact, in my opinion, though. I mean, what kind of person reads a contract that "may" have included murder of people in it at one point and goes, "ha ha, that had to have been a joke!"

Yeah, that's sort of my point. If they just left them here to possibly be murdered on live television for ratings, I'm... pretty sure the boss or bosses or executives or whatever they are don't really care what happens to them. Kind of tragic, in a way. It's why I feel bad for them more than anything; they clearly had no idea what they were getting into as much as us.

I mean, I'm still kind of angry they had more knowledge than us, for sure, but... the middle path. I can't stay mad, if that logic dictates the middle road means being between the two extremes.
