[Other than the reappearance of the Overseer, there's no real change in the routine. PAL still makes the morning and night time announcements through the PIP on each Champion's arm, and still the Champion unitards are freshly laundered and re-hung each morning in their closets.

No other floors unlock, but Cece and Kip will still be appearing randomly to chit-chat.

All you know is... something has to change soon.]

Now I do, yeah. [She looks back down at her tablet and idly fingers the plain white pendant hanging from her neck.]

[Oh. All right. That takes some of the wind out of his angry sails.]

So you're saying you didn't before.

Not at first. Like I told Angel the other night, when I was first given this job I thought I'd be working with actors or at least willing participants. That's the way it's been with every other show I've interned for so I didn't see how this would be any different.

Were all those other shows with, uh, this network?

[She nods.]

I've worked on a few of InterGal 7's soap operas, mainly "All My Offspring" and "Ynra's Hope", I was with Yl'lb Ein the Science Mind for a while. This is my first season working on Airlocked! though. [And if we're being honest probably only season.]

Is there anything that makes this show... special? Special... directors or producers. A variable the other shows don't have.

It's the network's most popular and successful show, [She pauses in fiddling with her necklace and taps a few buttons on her screen.] But when Mr. Larimer and I were given the crew it was just me, him and PAL. It made sense when they explained they were trying a more organic, hands off approach to filming but we haven't heard anything from any directors or producers since we got here.

[Well, that's ominous. Pairing that with some of the things Larimer's said off-hand doesn't paint a pretty picture.]

How has this show gone in the past, Diver?

Production-wise or plot? Because from what I've heard around the studio production's always gone pretty smoothly.
